I been after a boxed one with papers for under 1600 for a while, so was a no brainer. I'll post pics one it arrives.

    There's an Archimeyde 39mm pilots for £235.

    Savings bonannza!
They have finally reduced my old Tag F1 as well!

    http://www.jurawatches.co.uk/collect...ograph-pre-432

Seriously, I have found this quite ridiculous for a while now.

I bought this watch new in 2009 for £625 (UK sourced & stamped grey market, Galileo in St Albans iirc)
P/x'd with jura for £400 in Nov 14 and they have had it listed at £1,225 for 14 months until this sale when they reduced it to £735, still £110 more than I paid 6 1/2 years ago!

Bonkers prices, or was this actually a smart purchase after all, perhaps I should have hung on to it.

If it's not for me I'll see if anyone here is interested before I return it.
Great to hear and I hope it suits. Can't lose really whether you send it back or pop it on here first. Not sure how they are deciding what goes on the sale but it seems to be small numbers of some models so it's a bit luck of the draw in terms of when you see them.

Well I just bought a Suunto Ambit3 Peak to replace the Ambit2 S I have currently - I'm quite happy with that!

They had a blacked faced Solo at around £1,400 and a Supermarine GMT Titanium Terra Nova on rubber for £2,100.

I tried to get the Terra Nova but the anti fraud part of my card declined it and when I got it sorted the watch was sold.

    Very, very annoying!

Some extremely good deals; torn between the Oris big crown and the Alpina starter pilot. I've got an Oris TT1 and love the automatic movement, do i want another though? I have no real knowledge of Alpina and am a little put off by the quartz but love the look and as a cheap pilot type it ticks the boxes.
    Any advice would be welcome.
    Yours sincerely,
    Prevaricating Dave

Cracking price at £2100 for a limited edition. I hate it when the anti fraud kicks in. I have lost a few like that in the past!

I'd personally go with the big crown. Alpina are decent I just prefer everything about the Oris. You can't go wrong with either at that discount but feel the Oris is better value.

That's my initial feeling too, the thing is though is that i've got a dressy type watch that i wear for more formal occasions ,ie very, vey rarely, but it's a definite keeper as it was from my parents for my 21st b'day and i wouldn't dream of parting with it . The Oris would be worn initially i expect but wouldn't replace that.
    I appreciate the advice,
    Dithering Davidd

The Oris Williams F1 might be worth consideration?

I've looked at that but too similar to my TT1 strap wise and the ludicrously limited options that offers has pissed me off no end recently !
    Thanks all the same though.

Some sale items have 'S' after their description and others have 'D'.

Do you think this is used internally to show a 'sale' item or ex-'display' model?

Well, here it is, I bought it yesterday afternoon and the postman brought it first thing this morning. It's absolutely stunning. I've already got a GS SBGA031 Spring Drive Titanium diver which I thought was the ultimate Seiko... Now I'm not so sure.

Grand Seiko SBGC013G Limited Edition one of 400. Half price from Jura. I love it. Was £9,500, now £4,750, I am sure it couldn't be bought cheaper anywhere in the world.

^^^ I think the pushers look better (well, slightly less massive) on the wrist than in the stock photos.

Like the crown, the pushers screw in to lock. It all makes sense!
This thing is awesome. I wasn't planning on buying one, but the deal was just too good to resist.

Heads up: Jura Watches sale... increased discounts

    Well done indeed!

That must be the first time UK AD price is better than anywhere else :)

A week before sale they offered a descent trade-in quote for two of mine GS, but unfortunately items on sale weren't covered...

Could have been me posting that picture :(

Does anyone that ordered since the weekend started have their order still at the 'unfulfilled' stage? I know the site states they dispatch mon-fri but I'm getting paranoid. The order states 'paid' but the watch I ordered is now listed back on their site at full price.

Didn't know you could track your order. Think its unfulfilled until your finance is approved if you went that route.
At one point I had quite a few headland price watches in my basket but then I came to my senses!

I rang CS about my order of a (much cheaper) watch and got chatting about it. They also confirmed a lot of their sales had come from my thread... I should have been on commission!!
