^^^^yep, 13" alloys are a bit old school these days.

  2. #2802
It's about the drive not the look haha

Adverse effects on handling but if this ever see a track then appropriate wheels will be fitted, but it looks great on 19's

Got busy with the plastidip today, did my chrome rear badge in gunmetal. Next up I'll do the chrome boot handle surround and the front kidneys to match.

I'd recommend anyone interested in cosmetic mods to have a play with plastidip, it's brilliant and you really cant mess things up with it!

I've used a fair bit of plastidip on my Jeep and got good results.....but just be aware, application in cold weather, can compromise the adhesion..

Indeed. I always leave the dip a week or so to cure and put the car in the garage.

    I like it :)

Mines in next month for front bumper intake surrounds and rear diffuser to be wrapped gloss black to match black paintwork and MP grille.

All that's now left is the MP exhaust and maybe some light window tints.

If you want to see Plastidip to the extreme then just look at one of the Lotus guys has done...

The whole car! If anyone's interested it's a new spray plastidip product. Essentially they can do any car any colour.

Never tried plastidip, just had my badge sprayed black which was the last bit of chrome.(the marks are just reflections)

Bit old school but tend to work best on 7s. I think they look right too.

The Lotus isn't actually plastidipped, it's been done with Cardip coating which is a different level of product in terms of finish but not easy to DIY. You need a booth, pro sprayer system, respirators etc.

    It's amazing stuff though!

Much better in black, I don't know why they still go for chrome these days.

Well the 11 year old Audi A4 3.0 V6 has gone... such a lovely car - but when they start to go wrong a bottomless pit of cash :(

I have bought (yes not a lease this time) - a Subaru Levorg.

I was lucky to pick up one which had just been delivered - and what a easy buying experience as there is nothing but the colour to pick.

Ticked all my boxes - petrol, estate, AWD, auto (yup I have been converted).

Only a 1.6 Turbo but lovely and smooth on the motorway - sport mode just adding the poke for overtaking/ powering up the hills.
Due to work I have clocked up 1100 miles in about 2 weeks.

The interior has been improved over previous generations - and everything feels nice and solid. All the toys I need are included with the Leather interior.

Just hoping to go and watch the opening BTCC race at Brands in April as the Levorg will be on track for Team BMR!

I will get a pic taken later!

    Cheers

    Matt

Nice looking car, if they made a fast one it might be a replacement for my Legacy 3.0R Spec B

Picking this up in couple of hours...

Loads of extras and despite being eight months old it's only got 11 miles on the clock.
Huge discount of the original list price as it's been registered, presumably to be used as a demo, however, it's obviously largely sat in the showroom.

I'm sure the FJ cruiser is a great car but it does remind me of a car they made on Top Gear.

Why didn't Subaru realise that "LEVORG" written backwards spells "GROVEL"?

Swapped my 535i long wheelbase for a MINI JCW a couple of weeks ago and so far I love it. Great for Beijing traffic.

Thanks, I've managed a whole 30 miles in it from the dealership to mine as I had to work. Initial impressions are that it's quick, probably no quicker than my 2-Eleven but a hell of a lot more practical.

A lovely car Alex, and the colour really suits it. The Exige S has grown up somewhat since I had mine. Still one car I miss, just a little!

Thanks, I had an S2 Exige too, interior-wise it's almost identical to the S3 but the extra 100+bhp is noticeable.

Drove it 220 miles to visit my parents today, unfortunately the top of the M25 is covered with average speed cameras now so set the cruise to 70 and returned 31mpg!

Been bombing around in the 595 Abarth for a while now, and just returned from a ski trip to the Alps where it ate up the 800 mile journey each way. Such a fun car - a proper rollerskate!

    '03 Golf TDi.

I won't post a picture, you all know what they look like.

I've always had Volvos in the past, but after a spotty youth murdered my lovely 940 the Golf came along at the right price. I prefer power at the back though.
