Home insurance - a quick heads up

Hi all
So my insurance renewal comes through at £280 for buildings and contents plus my Rolex outside the house

I had a look around as I have two claims 4 yes ago

It appears more than are only asking if you have claimed in the last 3

Result

By using quidco I now have the same cover (taking into account approx £50 cashback) for £65 for the year

They ask you to send the original receipt or a current valuation of your watch within 30 days - not a prob as have the receipt

All in all a good deal and worth a look from a firm that I've not used before

Always shop around at renewal time and always check quidco or topcashback for cash back deals, but only once you chose based on what you need. The cashback is just bunce.

The ease of cover for a watch outside the home was the bit I liked
Plus the price was fab even before cashback
Adjusted it so was only £50 excess
Don't get caught with that
