I like the 36mm Tudor, but wish it had something else than a 2824..
I'm guilty of that. But I think it's inevitable.
As we age our tastes often become more conservative, and it's not unusual to prefer whatever went before. Furthermore watch companies are designing for a vast range of consumers. far more than they used to: from Russia to the US to China. And so again, as globalisation firms its grip, it's to be expected that designs become more polarising.
I like the 36mm Tudor, but wish it had something else than a 2824..
So far, I'm really liking the new Yachtmaster in Everose and brown dial. Good update on the Explorer's hands but not that bothered and the Airking dial looks a mess.
Patek adding breguet numerals to existing dials isn't that exciting either.
Overall I'm a bit disappointed not to see a 39mm Datejust or anything from Patek on the 40th anniversary of the Nautilus.
New Zenith El Primero Classic Cars has got my attention.

Love the Daytona and Explorer. Realistically the Tudor BB 36 might be an option for me, depending on how it wears. Look forward to trying it out.
The Air King is just awful.
Don't know about my favourite, but I'm certainly feeling entertained by this Hublot
That's a leather dial
I really do like the BB36. I really can't wait to see how it sits on the wrist. The new Explorer has sorted out a lot of all those little but 'massive' issues - and I really want one.
Not much talk about the Sinn new versions.
I love the style of the 910 Anniversary

And at last they got rid of the date on the 556. It was always just there - a little hole cut out and in the way!

This would be the nicer of the two I reckon

Those Sinns look great! Could be tempted..
1000 sounds like a lot but the 556 is a popular model so maybe they will sell a thousand pieces reasonably quickly? Certainly like the look of it, would be great to see real life pictures. Love the fact that there is no date window.
It's the tudor's with there in-house movement that i have waiting for, called the an AD today to find when i can have a look at them, May - August suits me Sir!
Be careful with the Bronze BB as I have it on decent authority that the year 1 allocation will be 20 pieces to the UK and limited production thereafter.
The Omega CK2998 will be highly oversubscribed as well.
The White Daytona. It's so beautiful it actually makes me a little bit sad knowing I'll never even touch one!
There's so many excellent new releases this year.
I'm genuinely very excited about new product for the first time in a few years - similar to the Geneva motorshow this year as well.
Here's a real life pic of the LE grey

Has to be the Glashütte Original Senator Excellence in black for me.
I liked the monza. Wonder the price?
Love the Patek 5164r. Any idea on cost for that one please?
I like this but I'm curious that they're pitching it as "woman's" watch

Wow finally a GS spring drive without the reserve meter and it even has the blued seconds hand with a textured dial! Lovely.
Edit, it even has a 8 day power reserve, so I thought I had found my perfect watch until I saw it is 43mm, far too large for me...

Surprisingly many. The grey Yachtmaster, the gorgeous 5396, the Zenit above looks great as well.
Well it's only 40mm or thereabouts. And as any fule kno, only girls wear Omegas that size... What's amusing is the certainty, now, that in a couple of years' time a 42mm watch won't be enough for a proper man, because an MBA in the marketing department told us so.
OK mickey-taking size (or size mickey-taking?) aside, I think it's the colour scheme that's supposed to appeal. It's a bit Michael Kors-ish.
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
I surprised myself by liking the new Daytona. Favourite that I've seen so far (although only computer renderings) is the Gronefeld 1941 Remontoire. Interesting engineering, beautiful movement, white or red gold case and a solid silver dial.
Yum. Certainly out of my league; but maybe one day?
Daytona and hand-corrected explorer are my favourites from rolex. Air king no.
Quite like the chocolate PO and the bvlgari octo minute repeater is an interesting shape but not for me.
The Grand Seiko spring drive ceramic black limited edition. A fabulous, exciting watch..and from those masters of conservative design. Someone has woken up at GS , and they are serious....whether Jura will ever find the energy to bring any to the UK is another matter.
Goodness, what a watch.
Not my favourite as such but credit to citizen and their sub 3mm watch!
I think so too, but I was talking to an AD today and he said all the dealers, including him, are going mad over it. Best thing since sliced bread apparently.
I don't get it myself.
Personally, I really like the new Speedy Blue. The full meteorite version feels like a mess to me, especially as they should be legible watches.
I am glad the Explorer has regained its balance with new hands, but 39mm is still too big for me. I am not a big fan of the Daytona (yes, happy to admit that!), but the new bezel looks very fine. Yachtmaster looks really good too.
The Tudor offerings are interesting, especially the slimed down Black Bay Explorer-lookalike, and hopefully it makes the original ETA movement versions more attractive, but I am not convinced by the case size increase. Love the new fabric straps though.
Nice work by Oris and I continue to be tempted by the 65 versions.
The Grand Seiko is stunning.
However, I wasn't impressed by Sinn or that gopping Beatles watch.

I think I'd go with the Black Bay Bronze. I like it in it's own right, but it's also possible that it's been the watch that has divided the most opinions over it, therefore it's been one of the more "entertaining" watches this year given it's marmite qualities.
I found this thread because I searched for "Tudor Heritage Bronze". I really like the look of the new Bronze Black bay but I am slightly concerned that I also like the red bezel version in the pictures yet in real life (on my wrist) I was left feeling underwhelmed. Has anyone tried one on yet? Thoughts?
I think it is one of those things you need to see in the flesh. I took delivery of a CWC Diver this week, which is 45mm at the crown and I was concerned that it may be too big, but it sits really well and doesn't look much bigger than my Speedmaster 39mm Automatic.
I wouldn't dismiss any watch based on some technical data - if you get the chance when it is released, try it on before making a decision.
