Looks like a good Speedbird as they all are, yeah that will make an exceptional addiction to the SB family.

Agree.
Sans serif, s'il Vous plaît - and if Junghans can get power by Seiko, why shouldn't Timefactors!
I REALLY didn't go through every post on these pages - what's the proposed size?
Thanks
Brane
Seiko will sell their electronic movements but not their mechanicals, just got word back today.

Wow, we'll be having a quartz Speedbird! :P

No we won't. :DOriginally Posted by Crusader
I would have liked the Seiko 6R15 movement for the new PRS-10.

Pity, that sounds like it would have been cool for the PRS-10.Originally Posted by swanbourne

Time Factors is closed until PM Thursday 21 June 2007 whilst holding meetings with suppliers.
Hmmmmnnn?
An excellent choice of thread to record your question for posterity. :?Originally Posted by calvinktlim

Yep, discussing current and future projects. Kind of a touchy-feely meeting , touching and feeling watches and cases.
Open for ordering again now.

BTW, my apologies to Mr. Platts for allowing me to use visit his "home" and not having yet bought any of his creations...
(I am waiting to see the PRS-50 non LE)
That Heuer is great looking. Two subdials at 3 and 9 often turns out to be better looking than 3.
This Hanhart has also been discussed as a possibility, though not by Eddie as far as I recall
Cheers
Henrik
Lovely lovely... can you tell us more abt the hanhart... perhaps in another thread too... love the red pushers and the red marker at 12
I'm convinced that Hanhart would be a winner, but who has some 50 NOS single pusher chrono movements laying around????

Agreed, the Lemania is far more cool and clean looking.Originally Posted by abraxas

I remember having reading this thread from page 1 to 29 (as it stands now), but how did the SB III end up being a chrono?
I still want the SBIII as shown in page 1 !!!
As far as I know, the SB3 is still intended to look like page 1, the discussions of a chrono are us lot going off at a tangent about a subsequent possible project...Originally Posted by calvinktlim

Ah, thats a relief...
I realize there's not much of a point in nudging a sticky thread, just don't want the SB3 to disappear into the abyss of oblivion. If Eddie were mislead into thinking there's a bigger market for a lady's Italian, that'd be a colossal waste of 2824s.

Getting close to the Mark XV spec - wasn't it an adjusted 2892-A2 that went into that? This looks the business Eddie, count me in for one! 38/39mm, 20mm lugs and (please!)18-20mm buckle/bracelet. When do you think it will be out?Originally Posted by swanbourne

I still believe the silver & luminous hands make it look cheap.
I have a few cheap watches, they all have silver & luminous hands.
Ho-hum.

For a moment i thought theres an update and that its time to buy watches again :P
Why on earth would anybody in their right mind put such a nice movement into such a hideous case?Originally Posted by mr1973

Sorry guys, there's just one modern Rolex I like: Sub No Date (SND).
Further, I do have a weak spot for the full calendar models from the 50's/60's, especially those with moonphase...
Eddie
Maybe I am a bit late but I would like one as well.

A couple of things to note:
1. The thick soft iron dial
2. The project started in 2004 :(

2 out of the door last year, Eddie (PRS-20 and PRS-50), how many are likely this year?
I'll definitely get a SBIII as soon as they show up, hopefully first half of the year!
