Sad, but the right choice in my view. Plenty more of those particular fish in the sea. Good luck with the fishing!

After 4-5 years driving mundane family cars, I decided to do something rather foolish! I'm hoping it's not too ruinous...

Collecting on Thursday, it's the relatively rare CGI petrol version powered by 300 of the finest German horses. I'm rather excited!

Lovely car, I keep toying with the idea of one myself but the practicality of my E220 estate keeps stopping me.
Running a good merc is not expensive as they're very reliable and a good independent won't charge too much for servicing. Not sure about the fuel consumption though but it'll be less than the 500 or 55amg!

Cheers. I fished my way over to the Porsche garage and blew my budget on a 981 - pic to follow.

I had zero desire for a sports car but I looked at this sale add quite a few times do great buy and I hope you enjoy it!

For the record I've a lwb T5 and a Jazz on the drive. Can almost fit one inside the other which must be reasonably rare....

Fantastic, hope the weather's good for its arrival.

Nice trailer too, scrapes aside. That's what I'd like if my licence permitted me to tow it.

Not my trailer! Great guy called Simon from ClassicHaul is doing the transport.
Tomorrow is set to be a sunny 21c, so should be good.👍

Normally a 2002 Lexus IS200 Sportcross TTE, but that one is the subject of a law suit with a shady workshop which won't give it back to me.... I've let my lawyer loose on them, so I should get it back eventually. But until then I ride the bus...

I'm excited about having the soft top conversion done on my new Exige on Friday.

There's nothing better than getting a new car, especially if it's going to be sunny

    Enjoy!

Not as exciting as some, but a jolly pleasant way to make the miles disappear.

The 4th Alfa in the garage!

A 3 litre uprated Alex Jupe special.

Just added this to my flock.

1990 Custom build (by a mate) VW T25 Camper

I've owned dozens of VWs and sold my last Split Screen Camper about 13 years ago and thought I was done with them and concentrated on Porsches but somehow ended up acquiring this - planning to use it as much as possible in the Summer

You should have kept the Split! Have you seen the prices being asked for them now!

    It's the 5.0 V8, auto.....

It's early days (only done 160 miles), but first indications are that I'm going to enjoy owning it....
It's plenty quick enough (416bhp), feels nicely planted, smooth gearbox, and I got 27mpg on my trip home...
It's got lots of toys, is extremely comfortable, sounds nice (although I have a sports exhaust going on tomorrow) just to pep it up a bit...
Brakes 6 pot brembos, really haul it down, all in all for the price, it's a lot of car that's for sure...

Picked it up at Stoke, then went to BSB testing at Donnington, had loads of positive reaction in the car park, folk asking to take pics, and lots of thumbs up etc....... So yes, all in all, I'm pretty chuffed....

Oh and best bit £170 fully comp

Nice Mustang, Enoch. I see that the nearly new ones are selling for a slight premium. I think it's going to be a far more familiar sight than previous generations.
