Lovely car, I keep toying with the idea of one myself but the practicality of my E220 estate keeps stopping me.
Running a good merc is not expensive as they're very reliable and a good independent won't charge too much for servicing. Not sure about the fuel consumption though but it'll be less than the 500 or 55amg!

It's the 5.0 V8, auto.....
It's early days (only done 160 miles), but first indications are that I'm going to enjoy owning it....
It's plenty quick enough (416bhp), feels nicely planted, smooth gearbox, and I got 27mpg on my trip home...
It's got lots of toys, is extremely comfortable, sounds nice (although I have a sports exhaust going on tomorrow) just to pep it up a bit...
Brakes 6 pot brembos, really haul it down, all in all for the price, it's a lot of car that's for sure...
Picked it up at Stoke, then went to BSB testing at Donnington, had loads of positive reaction in the car park, folk asking to take pics, and lots of thumbs up etc....... So yes, all in all, I'm pretty chuffed....
Oh and best bit £170 fully comp

Nice Mustang, Enoch. I see that the nearly new ones are selling for a slight premium. I think it's going to be a far more familiar sight than previous generations.
Just driven the Elise to work for the first time this year. Roof off it was darn cold! Sunny but cold :-(
