    Attention all photographers

The Nik Collection is now free to own.

Seven powerful plug-ins that work with Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture. Works on both Mac and Windows.

Thanks for the heads up: never used it but will give it a go. Does it have image hosting as well?

In Lightroom, your option to use the Nik Collection appears when you go to export the image. Plugin Manager, bottom left:

I checked compatibility and it said CS3 minimum and CS5 if you want to use the HDR plugin. I ran the installation and can't see anything.

I never checked anything (as is often my way!) and blindly installed it. It shows up in my 'Filter' menu as 'Nik Collection' and I've been using it successfully :-)

I'm running Win7 pro if that makes any difference?

I'm running the same setup and it doesn't show in mine. I even tried installing again and it says it's installed but it doesn't show in the list of filters.

That's a baffler then Eddie. I can't make any suggestions tbh. It installed and works perfectly for me :-/

    I'm using CS2 v9.0
