    Right of Left ?

Always wondered about this I am right handed and wear my watch on the right, ive tried wearing it on the left but that lasts for about 10 minutes then back to the right.

So are you Right Right or Left Left or Right Left or Left Right

I'm the same as you, right handed and wear my watch on the right. I've tried to switch over a few times but it just feels weird and I end up banging the watch on something as I'm not used to it being there.

Right handed and wore my watch on my right wrist until something like 12 years ago when I made a concerted effort to swap to the left - mainly as the watch I favoured at the time has a large crown with protectors that tended to dig into my forearm.

It felt strange at first but I stuck with it and after a couple of months it felt fine.

Now I mainly wear on the left - though every now and then I swap to the right for a few hours especially in warm weather to get some air and sunlight to things. It feels OK but I dont ever feel compelled to go back to the right side full time.

One thing I do notice is that there is a slight size difference between left and right, the right being every so slightly larger - not sure if this is just me or a common thing.

Right right but I do get a few more knocks .
Always have but as I adjust my watch before I put it on it always made more sense to me to have the crown going up my arm rather than into the back of my hand.
Was rather disappointed when I tried on a Ploprof and realized I would not be able to wear on the right without serious injury

Most are designed to be work on the left hand. So I would wear it on the left no matter which hand was my strongest.

Right handed but always worn a watch on the left.

I will occasionally swap over to the right in warm weather but usually revert back in less than an hour as it feels wrong.

I used to do that, but kept trashing the watch. It needed refinishing more often than servicing! These days my routine is much more sedate and it wouldn't make a great deal of difference. But I would still have to take it off to play guitar, change a tap washer, fit cupboards, service the car etc where the dominant hand tends to do more work.

I think everyone who is right should wear it on the left and visa versa just to see if you can

Right-handed, wear my watch on the left wrist. One of my watches, 42mm, has a crown that digs into my hand so I've tried it on my right wrist, but wish it were possible to swap the contents round by 180 degrees so the crown is on the left, like you can with the Omega 1000M etc. You can with the (original) PloProf too, although I'm not sure it would make any difference.

Strange isn't it....I know millions of people think wearing their watch on their Right wrist is the absolutely 'right' thing to do, but it just looks WRONG to me! I want to tell people I see with it on their right wrist to move it to the 'correct' wrist! Of course, I obviously have no objective rationale whatsoever for this view, and would be utterly outraged if someone told me I was wearing my watch on the wrong (left) wrist!!

Crown dug into the back of my right hand. How righties get on with conventional watches whose crown protrude to any degree, I'll never know!

I make sure the Master of the Stool wear no watch, that way he can use either hand - what need he of knowing the time, it's either time to go or not!

I always wondered why so many RHDers develop facial tics when they see my watch on the right wrist. I thought y'all were supposed to be the ones less prone to OCD and Asperger's and suchlike ;)

No ...I've looked at a couple but not yet....

I tend to mostly wear on right because otherwise like Andrew I will just ding it... my old TAG got dinged by stupid things like door catches and seatbelt buckles so swapped a few years ago to right as I am very left handed.....

But....when I'm just going out and not doing anything likely to bash it I quite often revert to wearing on left wrist....

It's weird but maybe with the actual design of cases but it does feel "more right *ahem* correct" to put on left arm....

Which is weird being such a lefty.....

I am right handed and have always worn my watch on my left wrist. I broke my left wrist a couple of weeks ago, so tried to wear a watch on the right for a few days. It drove me mad, so since then I have worn everything on a NATO or ZULU strapped over the cast.
