Withe respect; what were you thinking buying a watch from an unknown seller on Facebook?
This so called seller from face book Medi Medi who posted watches for sale at one of the Facebook forum but he failed to send the watch after collecting payment. Please be careful.

The purpose is to alert fellow members not to make the same mistakes.

Yes, I am a fool who think everyone is good. The Con man is so good that he showed his information to gain my trust. Don't be a fool like me...

Which facebook forum is he selling on and is he selling under his name?
He has been known as a crook for years. He disappeared for a while, I didn't realize he was back.
facebook is a bottomless pit. Avoid at all costs.

Sorry for your loss and thanks for the heads up, I got ripped off by a forum moderator on WUS so there's always a risk.

I would much rather it was known than ignored because the actions were thought stupid.
He's a con-man. The "con" stands for Confidence and sometimes they are very good at gaining your confidence.
Edit:grammar.
I have already blocked him. His Facebook name is MediMedi and he claims to be 28 years old software engineer lining in Tunisia. He swear on his grandfather's head that he is genuine seller.
After blocking him, another guy named Chris Balo tried to contact me again. I guess, they are the same person or from the same group. In the end, I blocked both as Chris was pushing very hard to sell me watches which I refused to purchase. I told him to list on eBay which he refused and I have once bitten and will not buy from anyone except trusted dealers.

Medi (he went by Mehdi and Medi) used to be the watch repair guy at the Watch Geeks forum, that was Invicta's though, looks like he moved up in watch brand rip offs. He would take in watches for repair then not send them back. A lot of members got ripped off by him. People looking into it found out he lived in his mother's basement and had a history of ripping off people years before. Watch Lords busted him out as a thief and had information posted about him.

Yes... Seems that he has changed his identity.

Might be worth ringing Commerzbank just to see if he works there?

Facebook can't be that bad if JRPippen sells watches on there.
He swear on his grandfather's head that he is genuine seller.
That's what all the best confidence tricksters say.

If this is the same clown he ripped a bunch of folks off at the old Inficta watch forum where he was the resident watch guy. A real tool.

Mehdi aka Mr. Horology resurfaces and so does his mother
Post by koimaster » April 25th 2012, 6:48am
Surprise surprise! Today I get a phone call at my office no less, by the mother of Mr. Horology. A short run down of the conversation which I put on speaker phone for a co-worker to hear. His mother starts by telling me that it was not fair to hold her son out the way he is portrayed here at WL, that he never stole anything, always did good work and sent everything back he ever received. She also said that he took care of his disabled brother worked on watches that more expensive then a Rolex and never left bad comments on my wife's memorial site.
Surprise #2, not really, Medhi himself started talking about his never having failed to return a watch which according to reports at WG is not true.
watch buster
MEHDI i was wondering where you are. you emailed me that you had my watches and will be mailing them out. then you closed all your email accounts, shut down your website (www.timeportalwatch.com) and changed your number. what is going on? don't prove those ppl who say you steal their watches right! please contact me

People say those guys from Nigeria in the email who will give you 40% of their $20 million dollars are also con men. Don't believe it! Ok, so my money hasn't turned up yet but I have sent him $50000 so he could set up the transfer. He's a Prince, he said so and swore on his ginger stepchild's eyes he was honest.
I'm going to be rich!
Which Rolex group in Facebook? There are lots...
Another victim...

Although he made a big mistake, I have a lot of respect for the OP - He wanted to warn others even though it left him open to negative remarks having fessed up abou his mistake.
This was one of his identity used in FB

Yes respect to the OP not easy to face up to such a loss and help others.
He must be pretty thick using the same name every time.
