Those orange 7548's... Lovely!
beautiful finish, accurate like a qz.great bracelet
When first seeing this, it immediately struck me as the first shot of an SRP series "New Turtle" I've seen to look fully right to me. Then it was obvious about the hands. I think all the other of these I've seen shown are equipped with the SKX007/009 set of hands, as at:

Though I think probably not, did the SRP775 you show to great effect happen to recently arrive from the factory with that, I think, "proper" set of hands?
I hope so as that looks perfect. If not, and yours is modded, I hope Seiko wakes up and starts doing it that way at the factory instead of just sticking the SKX hands in there for whatever reason
Great photography and watch and thanks for showing
When I first laid eyes on the SRP775 Turtle I was impressed with the standard "Seiko" divers hands you describe as SKX hands. They are very nice gold polished etc.
But It also reminded me if another recent Anniversary edition SBDX012 and it's lovely brushed gold Marinemaster hands. Unfortunately the SBDX is not wearable for me so...

...what I have created is my rendition of THAT look mixing best from both and tweaking the finish of the case and adding Sapphire crystal.
So the 'TurtleMaster 200' is born
Hi and please excuse my lack of vintage Seiko Diver knowledge and experience, but you are absolutely right. AFTER I POSTED THAT, I searched up the following to discover that apparently ALL the original 6309 Diver variations were made standard with the (what I called) "SKX" hands:
http://forums.watchuseek.com/f281/ho...de-140799.html
So I'll put it another way --- though I'm fine with the "SKX" hands on my SKX173, a favorite of mine, I think the MM hands you modded your cushion case SRP775 to make the design look aesthetically perfect and perfectly congruent with the case design to me. They also remind me of the earliest vintage Seiko divers like the "62MAS", the 6215 and the earlier unshrouded version of the 6159 (the first MM, I think), and, apparently, the earlier versions of the revered 6105, which I think I was thinking about when I wrote what I did.
Anyway, your SRP775 looks great to me as you've redone it and I much prefer the look compared to the standard factory SRP775. Thanks also for explaining how you modded it that way. Rollon
