    My first SOTC

Well, now the watch count has 'doubled' in the last 6 months, I thought I may put a small and modest SOTC thread up!

I started with the Swatch about 5-6 years ago I think, and wanted something easier to read, hence moving to the Braun about 3 years ago or so.
Its only in the last 6-months that I've got into Watches more and more, pretty much along with joining the forum, initially wanting some advice for a new watch which ended in me buying the AT.

These days, the Swatch and Braun don't get much use really, the AT is my everyday but I bought the 120m to be the beater, and around 1/3rd of the value I don't mind that at all. I have ordered a perlon strap for the 120m for use at work/walking as I do not want to wear out the lovely Omega Leather strap.

    It all started here: http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...-some-thoughts

    From left to right:

Really nice. Quite fancy an Omega AT myself. Never really considered the 120m but I really like that one. What size is it?

    Great pics btw.

I love that shot of the AT with the seconds hand in "motion". What exposure was that if you don't mind me asking?

By the way, I guess you are hoopsontoast also from pfm?

    Excellent pictures.

I like the AT and Braun. It's interesting not to see a diver in the collection as that always seems to be the most typical style on here.

    Thanks for the comments.

Next on the drool list is a 36mm Railmaster, if they were not rare as hens teeth and probably well out of my budget I would seriously consider one over the AT Quartz, I do love the AT Quartz, especially the textured dial but it wears quite 'thick'.
Having compared it to the 120m the AT Quartz seems a bit chunky.

The 120m is now on a Rios 18mm Perlon strap, ready for the summer! Very comfortable and light.

Thanks, I'm very pleased with it, only real downside I've noticed is the Lume is not great at all.

I charged up the lume with the LED on my phone and then took the shot straight away, used with mostly ambient background lighting.

Latest addition, is a Tag Heuer 2000 on one of Eddies RAF NATO straps, in the 'RNVR' style:

I'm really liking those Omega's. A Seamaster is currently top of my drool list.

The Seamaster Aqua Terra is now sold, I found having it as an everyday watch it was far too precious, and I started not wearing it out as it felt a bit too shiny/blingy, hence the 120m purchase.
I am still lusting after a 36mm Railmaster but budget has taken a massive hit (Two holidays, big wedding present and bought a new turntable), and they seem to be unobtanium these days!

One of the best things I like about it is its value, it was only around £60 when I bought it, I wear it less these days as I have got really used to having a date window day-to-day.

I wear the 120m a lot these days on the leather strap but its nice to be able to change between it and the Perlon easily.

I've been looking more and more at other '90s Tag Heuers. They seem very good value, and lots to choose from. I may well be adding another one of these in the near future!

Ever since owning the AT Quartz, and selling it I seem to prefer the more budget end of the market.

The collection has not changed (yet...) but I do have a new storage solution, I already have a draw I use but bought some of the 'Stackers' modular units that fit in really well, not bad at all around £12/each. I have bought two of the watch compartments for 'expansion' space.

Bit of an update, the Seamaster 120m doing its thing in the pool and then in the sea after. I like the sporty feel the Nato gives it, dresses up and down really well I think.

Latest addition is the TAG Heuer Carrera GMT Re-Issue from the 2000s, looking nice on my 18mm Omega Leather strap

And the collection together, room for a couple more still.....

Thanks, it gets used on the Perlon the most at the moment.

The Swatch does not get worn much these days to be honest, it looks nice but is quite hard to read, especially in less than great light!

Another update, and an impulse buy, Plug was selling a lovely Braun BN0042 and I have been after a sqaure watch for a while, and for £60 I thought it would be worth a punt!

The stepped dial adds a little more depth/detail over the plain BN0021 that I have. The Dial and Strap are actually a mid-dark grey

Its a little big fitting wise, just on the loose side at the smallest size on the strap but as its so light its very comfortable. I plan to use this everyday along with the Tag 2000 as a work watch, I've tended not to wear the BN0021 as much as I have got used to having a Date window.
