Lovely example.
I'd say £900 - £1100.
Don't see too many of these around these days, what would you folk think the trade value would be? I have owned the watch maybe eight years, bit of a safe queen, it was bought from a guy in the States who had it restored by Jack at IWW, dial was relumed, movement serviced, new crystal, case work done, I have the details of the work carried out.
There are two initials hand engraved on the case back, assume made by the original owner back in the day, it was agreed at the time with Jack not to remove them, never bothered me, just part of the watches secret history, it may bother others, but having seen the lazer welding images on here I would think it could be removed if required.
These are the best pics I have, taken years ago there not the best, don't have one of the case back but I will add one, appreciate your thought on trade value.

Lovely watch.
I would imagine about $1500.
I’m unsure why people have their dials re-lumed.
The dial surely has to be the key point in the whole watch.
So, that would put me off, but I’m also sure that has been reflected in the value opinions above.
Have a look on thewatchsite for sold sales ads. I would say £700-£1000 ish.
Cheers..

Can't be many around with a case and dial as good as that.
I think at least £1100. I've seen fairly shabby ones go for over £1000.
This sold for $1650 on WUS 2 years ago:

I sold my near mint example for £600 in 2013. I knew it was too cheap :-)
Foggy
What year is it? 1965 and 66 are scarcer than 1967 examples, that doesn't really reflect in the value but I'd always buy a 65 or 66 over a 67 at the same price/condition just because there are less of them around. With the initials "engraved"on the caseback it doesn't really matter whether the dolphin logo is still present or worn smooth but even taking that into account and the fact the dial, handset and bezel are good I'd say £900 upwards is easily achievable. Aim high :)
Wow!! 6217 is a very nice vintage diver. It reminds me of Oris 65 somehow.. What is the size?
I bought this 6105-8000 from the same bloke, this had also been through Jacks shop again don't see too many around don't think they were/are as popular as the 6105-8119
Pics were taken a long time ago.
