I only had a handful before I discovered SC, but now, thanks to SC, I have a collection of over 100.True - Count yourself lucky - I had 3 watches before I discovered SC!

Are you not aware that fake watches breach copyright law which is actually a criminal offence ? So you are therefore funding criminals buy purchasing one.

Once you do get access to sell on SC the key to selling is to bump the living daylights out of it without actually offering any incentive, don't think about adding a extra strap (if it's a watch) or god forbid knocking off a tenner, just bump it twice a day and bug the hell out out of everybody who browses SC..
Another key rule is to avoid the forum fundraiser like it doesn't exist...
Follow these 2 rules and your post count will rocket especially if you post up a fake Omega..

I realised that i have some serious mistakes here
- bought a non-original
- shared it in the forum
- defended it
However, just want to reiterate that it will never come up for sale on SC... infact u guys have helped me reach conclusion that i destroy it asap.
Anyways as i said i never intended to put it up on SC. the only reason to check SC was to see if i can get something interesting before i put up an order for the watch i want

Non-original is a modded watch, or a refurbished vintage. A fake is a fake, I do hope you smash it and put it in the bin.

SC is a brilliant resource, and has allowed me to confidently buy and sell a few watches over the years. However, it's not anywhere near the main reason I frequent this forum - in fact I can't even remember the last time I looked at it (probably months ago). I'm glad Eddie and other members are keen it retains its integrity, otherwise it just becomes am online car boot sale, and who needs another one of those? 😠

he had only passed 50 posts minutes beforehand and presumably hadn't realised that the access to the additional subforums isn't an automated process, but done by hand
Because he initially pushed admiration for his fake (retracted) and we all know the SC rules; ANYONE who posts asking why they can't see it gets the same response. Do a search.
Combine the two, fake watch plus SC... Chaos ensues.
It's seems he's moved on, so should we all.
