    SMITHS ..... Old & New.

Here's one of Eddie's, the Smiths Black Shadow, received a week ago, great watch keeping great time.

And here's one I already owned, a superb Smiths Astral from the 1960's I believe. Doesn't run quite as accurate as the PRS Smith but then it is a few years older.

And on one of my favourite straps ...... The fixoflex style expanding bracelet, very comfortable. My late father always wore a fixoflex on his watch.

    Regards ........... Gary.

Very nice Gary, how's the time keeping on the Astral. I have an old Smiths Everest from the late 50s that I bought off SC that I love to wear, as well as my newer Smiths Everest. Cool watches

    Hi,
It loses about a minute and a half a day which is not too bad. I have a mate at work who's 9 year old Rolex loses more.
It could do with a service and may get one soon but it still looks unused.
    Regards .....Gary.
