OK, here's another...although it may actually be radium??? :?
And here's my first watch, from when I was about 7 years old...

Lot's of fabulous examples on display chaps, keep 'em coming.

No, but it's not all about looks either. Yin, yang ;)Originally Posted by Omegary
FWIW I've had two watches with tritium. One, an old one that I didn't expect to work in the dark, and the second, much newer but that was terrible as well. The first has gone a nice cream colour and the second as white as ever so how all these watched ended up going brown I've no idea. Still, the manufacturer intended it to light up in the dark and that's kinda my expectation too...
...but what do I know; I don't even like watches!
Mine feels right at home here :D

Early shot trying to get the lume. Looked artistic so I kept it. :)
Another one of mine that I had more or less forgotten, hence its now also on SC :?
Get a new dial or have it re-lumed. It's not rocket science :?Still, the manufacturer intended it to light up in the dark and that's kinda my expectation too...
here's one that hasn't been seen yet....

Here is my Seamaster 120 - replacement hands - original dial and bezel - sweet 8) 8)

Both the same model sub, but one had a lovely patina and one was brilliant white
Just received this in trade & quite like that the tritium is just turning creamy...
Hence the thread resurrection

Holy thread revival, Batman! That's more trit than the Joker's facepaint...
classic watch enthusiasts.. its radioactive, poisonous, and not as good at being luminous as modern superluminova etc but it ages a pretty colour so we love it !
Love trit dials
All lovely examples, but particularly love these two, ie Bobdogs'!
