This is actually a very dark blue leather

I have also lightly brushed the edge of the bezel to tone down the shiny chrome look a little. Very happy with the blue, which is darker and more subtle in the flesh than in photos ( particularly the bezel insert )

Yes, the NATO is a great match to the watch, and I'd guess most blue-dialed divers. Lovely combo.
