Just seen Marc’s post (great example) and thought I’d post a couple of pics of my new arrival. I’ve been after an unmolested 16800 for a little while and this stunner landed on my door step on Friday courtesy of Verv.

And here it is again in molested condition with a ghost bezel – The pics above capture the patina a lot clearer than my phone pic
Pretty much a perfect vintage sub in my eyes
great watch , perfect blend of having a matt dial and the robustness of a sapphire crystal
wore one daily for a good few yrs in the mid 2000s
the 16800 was my first foray into vintage rolex and well I guess the rest is history
will always have a soft spot for this reference .

It's a goodun. That bezel insert really finishes it off though.
