Looking for recommendations of a building surveyor in the North West (Warrington) area (or even ones not to use!).
Looking to purchase a property built around 1880 and due to it's age I'd like a full building survey done. I've only bought new build houses before so have no experience whatsoever and would really like to go on a recommendation than choosing based on price or a random choice.
Have seen a few posts on search but all seem to be based in the South.
If anyone has any advice/thoughts all are welcome.

I can give you the number for one in Accrington, he covers the northwest so should be fine. He is very thorough in his work.
The last time I used him, he noticed the owner of the property had been tidying the back of the garden up, so he checked the garden waste only to find the owner had cut the Japanese knot weed down that was growing in the garden.
I have used him about 4 times never a problem.
