Thoughts on the Rolex GMTc BLNR?

I'd love one but just can't get my head round spending an additional £1.5k (on the used market) for a different colour over a regular 116710 - so I'm buying one of those!

New from an AD there is only £350 between the two at the moment. Not sure if this will change when the (sorry for mentioning it again!!) impending price rise hits.

Is there really a £1.5k differential in used prices on like-for-like watches?

I find that the charmless Eurostile bezel numbering in place of its predecessors' gorgeous hand-lettered work are the main turnoff with ceramic GMTs.

On the positive side, it still works with the Jubilee bracelet as an alternative, which I find can give it back a bit of character:
