Turkey has always been a messed up country with plenty of skeletons in it's closet. Let's not forget that Turkey has occupied almost half of a sovereign country (Cyprus) for many decades now.
People are just never informed on the topic.
A friend of a friend is in marmaris now and has sent my friend some pictures, one showing the balcony glass shattered, the other one of 2 bullet holes in the sliding doors onto the balcony, scary.
You couldnt pay me to visit turkey.
