My God two watches on holiday with me? That's one watch immediately lost.
I'm still sweating over the near loss of the my Great White in Sharm. There was chaos at security the trays went one way and we were sent in a different direction then wholesale panic as people scrambled for their possessions.
To answer the question, holiday in Menorca with Great White on dark blue Isofrane a match made in heaven

I never wear one for going through security now after a similar experience. I just keep them well down in the hand luggage in travel pouches. I think I will take three this time (it's for three weeks, after all. Daily wearer will be Glycine Lagunare with Mango dial, plus a Hulk and Seamaster Vancouver Olympics 2010 for evenings. Haven't had the Seamaster out of the box for a long time, as I've kept thinking of selling it, but it's time it saw daylight.

    No idea.

Took my Dreadnought Voyager to Indonesia diving, but next trip is to the Azores and I'm not sure about the time difference.

Might give my Hydroconquest a run again. Smart enough for evenings, but up to diving too.

Sorry I haven't got a clue, I never read the instructions just play with it for three months getting it to work properly. I'm at sea level and it still thinks I'm 80ft in the air

In 5 weeks I will be in the canaries with my GMT Goodplanet on Isofrane for the day and my 116613LB for the evening, my wife will only be taking her explorer as she only has 1 watch !

My main travel watch is this titanium t touch. Bomb proof for the beach (its not had a charmed life yet it still goes on and on!), you can de-sync the hands and digital for 2 time zones, and I have actually used the compass more than once to get my lost arse back to safety!

Evening wear most recently is my Black Bay Blue.

I suspect it will be this again, but I'll put it on the bracelet. Unlikely to attract unwanted attention, tough enough for beach/pool but smart enough for evening too.

I wore it like I did before I had a real interest in watches, that is without worry day or night swimming or whatever.

Quite like that, do you mind providing the model number if you know it?

Most of our holidays are cruises and I take a BLNR and Orange PO for evening and the Black Bay Black for daytime, here it is surveying the ranks of fallen strawberry daiquiris in the solarium!

For a beach holiday I just take my Barbos Stingray, it's built like a tank!

I need my 5711 on holiday. I haven't had a holiday in a long time that did not involve a trip to a watch shop. I know what we wear shouldn't make a difference in shop assistants' attitude, but in my experience it does.

Aerospace Evo is my go-to holiday watch. I spent ages trying various GMTs, but in the end got an Evo, and haven't looked back. Dual time display, alarm, water resistant to a sensible depth. Smart, yet subtle enough, can't see me using any other holiday watch for a good while.

I take just my quartz SMP 300 on holiday. Easy time zone change and nice and robust, that's what I bought it for.

If only we could restrict ''which holiday watch'' to only one thread a year.

My G-Shock did me proud over the last 2 weeks following the Tour De France, including cycling up Mt Ventoux

I'm off to Canada next week and I will take my Scurfa Silicone One - its a great grab and go watch.

It's a Eulit Panama in grey, had to go to Uniqlo for the matching shorts though (a coincidence I assure you!)...

Taking more than one watch on holiday seems a daft idea to me. Take one with a modest value, keep it on your wrist , pop it in wifey's handbag at airport security.

Be honest, does having more than one watch add anything to your holiday enjoyment? ....... Does it add enough pleasure to justify the security risk?

I'll be taking this one on my next holiday. Waterproof to 100m, newer shock resistant movement - goodness if it can go up Everest . . . Also, I'm not selling this one as its a 'mile-stone' watch for me so every scratch dink and scrape will stay with me. Fully insured in case of accident or theft and it looks the dogs do-dahs.

Sounds like the Seiko skx007/9 is the perfect watch particularly on rubber. Sturdy, water resistant and nice and colourful if you go 09. if you lose it, it might be gutting but not a disaster

Just left base for a three month european tour and restricted myself to three watches:

    Bremont Supermarine 500 on rubber
    Omega Speedmaster 3570.50 on leather
    Omega Speedmaster 3551.20 on bracelet

Having read through this thread I'm now regretting leaving my SMP Bond behind!

I took these two on my very recent holiday. The Suunto was purchased for this very purpose but on day two the strap failed, so the Panerai got full time usage after all

Only ever take one on holiday. I chose between:

Relatively safe destination / activities = Omega SMP

    Questionable destination / activities = £30 Seiko 5 on a nato

This new arrival will be accompanying me on my hols this year. I like a little bit of colour in a holiday watch and this seems like a good candidate for a bit of beach time, some walking in the hills, relaxing at the pub, etc.
