In search for a leather laptop bag.

    Hallo my friends.
I am in search of a high quality leather laptop bag.
It's well known that British shoe makers belong to the best of the world, so I thougt they micht also be very good in making leather laptop-bags ;)
I wonder if someone could give me some brands that are worth looking at.

I live in Belgium, so I don't know many British brands...

To give you an idea what I am looking for:

But I am doubting this brand is true English.....

Money is no issue, I want quality.

Thank you for tour advice !

Henry Tomkins Leather bags are well regarded around these parts. Quality is excellent!

Saddleback make really quality leather bags - 100yr guarantee.

Anyone interested in a company that has a very open pricing policy there is a letter on the homepage of this website explaining exactly why they are putting their prices up in September.

I use the simple backpack as my laptop bag and carry on bag when flying http://www.saddlebackleather.com/sim...ather-backpack

^ Exactly this. If you have a particular size / shape in mind, Henry might make you a bespoke article (if you ask him very nicely) based on one of his designs.

Papworth, Pickett, Tusting and Swaine Adeney Brigg are all British and very nice.

I'm very pleased with my Mulberry laptop bag, I've had it a couple of years and still looks like new and reckon it'll probably outlast me. I've no idea where it was made though, chances are not in the UK.

As far as I know, they are all made in Somerset.

I bought a Knomo 'Warwick' laptop bag about 3 years ago. Wasn't cheap, but it's worn in beautifully.

I got my most recent laptop bag from Florence Moon whilst in Rome last autumn.. Really good quality and is looking better the more it wears.

Usually I buy most of my leather accessories (bags, wallets etc.) from Osprey, so make the most of fact that they have a sale on! :-)

Try John Chapman, Holdall and Trickers. Millican also worth a look if you're flexible on materials.
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

I got this Hammond & Co one from Debenhams in the sales last year. Can't complain about the quality. Wasn't all that expensive, looks smart and does the job
