I need a quality Netflix drama to watch.

    Hi Guys

I have just finished both seasons of Bloodline on Netflix and it was superb so tense and well acted but I need another good one to watch that is gritty and well acted so it will obviously be American as our good British dramas are few and far between and I prefer US dramas.

I have seen House of cards which was superb so any recommendations would be great.

    Thanks

Stranger things, narcos and peaky blinders are all very good.
Lilyhammer is great but possibly an acquired taste and Gotham is supposed to be dark and a good watch but I haven't seen it.

Theres a fantastic short series called Resudue that I absolutely loved. Sinister.

'Marco Polo' is great, not sure if it's hestoricly correct but it's good entertainment.

Another recommendation for Narcos. Whilst I'll assume you have seen Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul - these are both absolute musts.

Another vote for Spotless. Nice twist on the London based gangster thing.

Also enjoying Narcos at the minute as well. Overall less drama than others being part documentary but all the more disturbing for it.

If you don't mind a bit of brainless fun then a big vote for Jessica Jones which I really enjoyed as a different take on the superhero series'.

Finally, if you've not seen Fargo the series that was also a cracker. At least series 1 was.

Can I just redirect you to this thread which has run for a while and has a lot of good suggestions.

    http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...worth-watching

In meantime even if you don't like comic series normally Jessica Jones is fine but Daredevil 1 and 2 are superb and far more a crime/gangster drama than trad comic book .... it's very far from the Avengers

Funny thing is I did start that last night but only watched around 15 minutes and it hasn't grabbed me but of course it is early days I just got to the part where his brother turns up.

Just watched Stranger Things and thought it was superb as for Peaky Blinders I know it is popular but again we watched one episode and it didn't grad our attention enough to carry on (fussy sod aren't I)

We are watching Dexter at the moment and really enjoying it. We are up to season 5 and no sign of losing steam yet.

I'm a big fan of Steve pemberton and he's in it so I might be biased.

    +1 for Stranger Things.

Started it last night with the better half. Got through two of the eight episodes and didn't want to go to bed. Gripping stuff.

Its not on UK Netflix yet but is supposed to be coming soon. It's by the bridge folks isn't it?

Don't think so - at least not the same production company or writers according to IMDB.

What about The Fall, seen that? (it's on Netflix France, but so is Marcella)

Is using a VPN to watch US netflix illegal? I did it ages ago and the choice available blew UK net fix out of the water

Netflix don't like you doing it, and have made changes to their software to try and prevent it. Many people suspect that the 25% buffering problem is due to these changes.

OK. I justified it in my head by saying I pay my monthly subscription so it's not like I'm doing anything too naughty.

I was a massive Dexter fan until the last series, really wish I hadn't watched that!

I really liked Generation war on Netflix. Ww2 from the German POV. Only three episodes and it's subtitled, but highly recommend giving it a try.

It's already been mentioned a few times but I recommend 'Stranger Things'. I'm about half way through and its superb, 80s nostalgia (E.T/ Goonies), good story, great music and brilliant opening credits.

We've recently enjoyed Bloodline. Sissy Spacek as the matriarch of a dysfunctional family and Ben Mendelsohn is wonderful as Danny.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".

just started watching 'Touch' on Netflix, about an autistic kid who uses the fibonacci equation to see things around him, a bit like Numbers and person of interest mixed into one.

Keifer Sutherland and the kid from Gotham put in good performances.

Based on the weekend's news, I think that making a murderer has got to be worth another watch.

    What does everyone else think?
