That is one unusual watch, I dread to think how much that costs.
Picked up this beauty yesterday. So fortunate to be allocated the watch as only 15 made and one of those is to stay in the shop and never to be sold

Wow! Congrats on a fantastic watch.
So, a dealer-special "St Helier" dial? Cracking. Hope it didn't command the sort of premium that the Mecca ones do!
Lovely piece, enjoy!
Very nice indeed
No premium at all. Same price as standard 5130.

I love that asymmetric case. An absolute beauty. I'm sure there was tremendous demand for this!!!
I love world timers. How does it fit in with the rest of your collection?

love the micro rotor.
Congrats on picking up this rare piece.
However, as a world timer it is pretty useless being wrong for half the year. It shows 0.45 for St Helier and 9.45 for Tokyo for instance which is wrong.
When the aesthetics of the watch is concentrated almost entirely on its world time function with it completely dominating the dial it seems a bit daft to be completely wrong.
Mitch
I'm not sure I agree with your reading of the dial. 0.45 in St. Helier seems to me to match what the hands say, so would be correct (assuming the watch is set for BST).
In any event that seems like an easy thing to change. I've had people tell me my world timer was 'wrong' because I had the main hands set to EST not BST.
OK I see what you mean, but you can still adjust the main hands to be 8 hours apart from Tokyo if that's the timezone you are interested in, for the few weeks when there is a difference.
I have a Seiko Ana-digital desk clock that cost me £2.99 that does take care of DST in different zones automatically, along with half hour timezones in India, but I still like my world timer more and I think this Patek is lovely.
Always somebody to piss on your fireworks

Just by chance I came across a picture of a version of this watch (ref 1415 HU) from 1949 in a book I was reading at the weekend. You probably know all about it but I thought you might be interested. I get a kick out of the locations on old world timers. This image is almost the same as the one in the book.
The book I am reading is http://amzn.to/2bIGF2y . It's called a price guide but really it's just alphabetically listed vintage watch porn :).
Edited to add:
I thought Mitch might come back on to point out what appears to be a mistake on this bezel, in that Paris and London are shown in the same time zone. The history is complicated but it turns out that Paris was on the same time GMT time zone as London for a long period until WW2 when the Germans changed it to what we now call CET. After the war it changed back to GMT for a while. It didn't all finally settle down until 1996 (good old EU).

Great seeing the old city names on that watch, and only 31mm diameter. I believe one sold earlier this year in Geneva for around 51,000 EUR.
Super cool, congrats!! A keeper grade watch for sure!
