    More than a bit Bi-Curious ;)

Said good bye today to a couple of watches which I hope live on to make someone else happy, rather than languishing in the box.

Replaced with something similar, but alot different.

(Full credit for the title goes to seikopath)

    Thanks guys,
The dial is lovely... and having a bit of sun up here for a change, I got a chance to enjoy the chocolate sunburst.
The rose gold is nice and subtle vs the typical yellow gold, so I feel alot self concious (tried all gold once and felt like a clown)

As much as I like my SS tool watches, its refreshing to have something different (dressier even?)

Now I just need a yacht, or a used car dealership!

Just out this year, or if you mean new, I had the pleasure of peeling off a million protective stickers!

Great looking watch, one of Rolex better looking models

Rose Gold is "in" as well you would think they would cash in and do a rose gold Sub.

Took a couple this morning in varying light conditions to capture the way the light hits dial, so much for the cloudy forecast
(shame I'm actually at work trying to tie up loose ends)

As for feedback, still working on that part :D

It's my first 6 digit rolex, so getting used to the larger clasp (stamped steel clasps still have their place, i think)

You get some of the warmth from wearing a gold watch which is nice, so its a nice feeling on the wrist in the morning, rather than the shock of cold steel.

-The balance for me is good, having the extra heft of the gold evenly distributed is nice so the head isn't flopping about down the side of my wrist (which is a bit of pet peeve).
Definately heavier than 4 & 5 digit watches, but not AP ROO on a bracelet heavy.

-Having "Yachtmater" in Red, and the "Rolex" in gold on the dial is a mild mish mash of hues/tones, but on the plus side it helps them fade into the background giving the impression the dial is slightly less crowded with text (which I like)

Overall though, I'm a happy bunny, A part of me still thinks "ooof, that's a bit flash", but fortunately I can throw on a G-shock on to balance my horological karma.

On a side note: My god doesn't it pick up finger prints left, right and center!! There's definately something to be said about having brushed surfaces.

of course an obligatory lume shot

Wonderful, twotone is the next big thing in my opinion. I prefer yellow gold and hope next Basel will be this watch but with yellow gold, we'll see....

Very impressive, I've always been a fan of the Yacht-Master, I currently own the Plat dial version but now I want that one, beautiful.

It is truly a beautiful watch and is such a great mixture of the iconic Rolex sport look with enough dress 👍

This thread has led me to ask my ad to put me on the list for when they get this in! First in the list for this and second in the list for the white dial daytona
