    I favour watches without a date. Here are a few.

    My leftie'd Ranger;

    I now have only either no-dates or Big Date complications. Hate having to reach for the specs.....

    How'd it get that way? Is that a manufacturer's option?

    Not a manufacturers option, had it modified by a watchmaker. The dial feet on the 2824 are opposite each other so (as long as you don't have a date) it's a simple job and easily reversible to simply spin the dial and reset the hands. Makes it incredibly comfortable to wear.

    That's omega mark VII issued for RAF. It is also described as 6b/159.

    Looking through this thread reinforces what I have always thought - watches look better without a date.

    Here's a few vintages...

    I've got a lot more, but you get the idea.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

    I do like no-date watches and had a Milgauss GV although only have this one ND now although would be happy with ND on most of mine apart from the skeltonised watch where the date ring is a feature to my eyes.
