This one is new in from Ryan last week.
I've had the two previous versions and really liked them, but I have to say that I think I like the current version better at the minute.
I know a lot of purists are not keen on the gloss dial and ceramic bezel, but for me it just adds that little bit extra to what was already a great watch.
I doubt it'll go down as a classic like its predecessors but I think it holds its own.

Wishing you all a great friday & coming weekend.
Heuer model 2447 from ca.1950 - powered by the Valjoux.72 - its 38mm without the crown & has 20mm lugs
This is the lighter coloured version of the black dial one i showed last week. The patina on the dial is sometimes referred to as a tobacco dial.
Cheers - Darren

It's amazing how the face of the Nomos Club changes appearance in different lights. Sometimes it looks white, others plain silver and with the right sunlight a shimmering fade gold. Lovely in all....
It's my birthday today and this was a present from my wife
Old photo (you can tell that because in the photo it's sunny )

All this week I'm wearing the Max Bill auto during the day, changing to the early 60s Longines bought from the SC at the start of the year once dusk has arrived
It just dawned on me while looking at the two together that the original designs for the Max Bill date from the same time that this Longines watch was being made. It must have seemed shockingly different.
This has been getting a lot of wear recently...
HAGWE.
