Welcome :-)
Great pictures of a very nice and varied collection. That Hamilton is quite amazing!
Hi all!
I have been a member for a few days now and thought it was time to introduce myself. I live in the Netherlands and have a thing with watches since 2012. It all started when I had to think about my 40th birthday present and thought a nice watch would be it. My research for the watch led to my interest in watches. Since then I have had about 80 watches which led to my curreny 6 piece collection. My 40th birthday watch (Nomos Tangomat) is long gone.
All together. The Padi was sold though.
I am looking for a new addition. Possibly a Omega PO 42 2500 but this can change anytime with me

Welcome to the forum . I really like the ML Pontos and hope you didn't take too much of a bath with it.
Welcome. A lovely collection you have. I particularly like the Alpina.
Not a bad entry to the forum ( esp compare to me) but I too love the look of that Alpina
Hello and welcome! I also like the Alpina!
Hi merl, cracking collection and welcome to the forum! Love the Hamilton and its 1970's vibe.
Nice collection - that Seiko is interesting.
Any highlights in the 80 you went through, always keen to hear watch journeys
Welcome to the forum. You have some lovely watches - I like the Alpina and the Nomos in particular, but wouldn't sa no to any of them!

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Well, they were quite a few. Here is a part of what I let go during the journey.
Really loved some of these but there was always something with them leading me not to wear them (enough).
I've had quite some Seiko's which I really liked but some looked too small for me on my wrist. Like the Sus gmt, the nos vintage worldtimer, sarb001.
The LLD and Seiko MM300 were great too but the lugs on the LLD I found to be too long and the MM300 too top heavy.
The Eterna's were great too and I will have an Eterna some day again.
What I don't or hardly wear I flip.
I am now at the stadium that I am quite happy with what I have now......at least for this week
Welcome .Thats a nice group.
Pontos diver looks lovely in strap.

A nice and varied collection you have had, I too like the 'digital' Seiko in the first pic.
Cheers..

Fantastic introduction, what an interesting collection you have had. The Alpina bezel is stunning, is the Seiko Padi domed?
Nice collection, Alpina looks lovely and that Seiko is very interesting, one I've not seen before :)
Some very niece watches there, the Eternas are something i will explore at some point, but the highlight for me is the blue dial Hamilton, I've had two blacks and the blue is on my want list.
Oh and welcome by the way.
Welcome to the forum, I like all of those, the Seiko is really interesting.
Nice to see the f72 ST5, I had one for a while. Amazing shade of blue.
I like that day/date Seiko and the worldtimer.
I think we have 3 in common Nomos , MM300 and the Blue Hokusai Jean Richard. The only difference being I still have mine .
Hi Merl, Welcome! Nice to have you here!
Too soon for me to have an opinion on that (tz vs wus) but it is good to know that from you . I am not very active on wus anymore.
That world time is great. I sometimes almost regret selling it since it was nos and had the sticker on the back. Maybe I will regret it even more if there comes a time when I will like smaller watches more. I hope that that time will never come
Those Seiko's are indeed beauties.
The Hokusai was not for me. It was my first and only all black watch and I just don't really like pvd/dlc watches as I found out. The blue Hokusai was what I was after but that one didn't come up on sale at that moment. The blue one is much more what I like and maybe I will buy it some day
Hi, Welcome to the forum
Welcome to the forum! Loving the Seiko world time. Just wondering is that a grey or beige strap on your Nomos? Just bought the same watch and looking to add a Nomos velour strap. That looks nice.
Don't see many of those Discusburgers around these parts. Wish I'd nabbed one when they were available. Welcome.
Wow really digging the collection! The Nomos Orion has always been a favourite of mine.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the Seiko Weekdater, I have a very strong hankering for one :)
I certainly don't claim to be an expert on the brand but there are at least 3 Seikos I have never seen before here and all very interesting. Thanks so much for posting.
Welcome merl.
That's a nice collection you had/have there.
Thank you. The strap is great. It is 20mm. This one: http://www.uhrband24.com/handmade-le...ft-p-3312.html
Nice collection indeed... nice to see some variation!
I've been considering an Orion datum...
That Seiko jump hour is something else!
Welcome to the forum merl. That's how to do an introduction. Be prepared for another 80 watches, this place has a tendency of spreading the disease known as flipperitis, which you seem to already be infected by
Hi. Very impressed by most of your purchases. You have an eye for the quirky yet tasteful.

Lovely collection!
Welcome, and nice collection, not seen that Alpina before, I like it!
Fab, your as bad as me I seem to go through a watch a month at the moment. I really like the Nomos for its simplicity of class. I've still got an LLD at the moment but that could change as I fancy a Breitling on SC just can not make my mind up at the moment. I usually can but the LLD is a hard one to let go.
Well, the Padi left and this one came.
