Well I like it, super cool although a pair of Sebago dock sides would have been better or Crocs .........

The shoes make me wince, but I'd wear the watch all day, every day.

I am not sure I would sell my socks to buy a watch.

For some, the 'no socks' has never gone out of fashion. ;-)

Although I'd have some socks on with those loafers too . . .

Wondering why people with no interest in watches are on a watch forum?

I'm not sure whether the dad jeans are helping to refute any "old man's" stereotyping, either.

But yes — the watch is nice, at least. :)

As is so often the case, some posts have the opposite effect to the original poster's intentions.

Love the watch - as for shoes without socks - how about a pair of Tod's Driving Shoes. Icy cool.

But I would warn against getting fashion advice from a bunch of watch nerds on a watch internet forum.

Lovey watch - a true classic.

No socks and slip-ons, the old man's choice - saves bending over.

is that the 36mm version of DD and is that a 'vintage' version i.e. the crystal looks a bit thick like a top hat ?

Haha I love all the comments about the socks! Throw up some more pictures of the watch, this is a watch forum!

  24. #24
The watch looks great- all around the world hipsters know that yellow gold is in fashion at the moment👍

There should be a separate 'hipster' forum on TZ-UK dedicated to fashionistas where we can discuss
the best coffee shops in Hackney and Brooklyn etc etc
-leave the corduroy wearing Seiko dive watch / Casio G shock gangs to discuss their issues elsewhere

Do you think that you have hipster tendencies??? Not a nice suggestion I know, but sometimes worrying possibilities have to be faced rather than ignored...

    Maybe?

Lot's of daddy types here still in their "insecure box" with wife's and girl friends still picking and buying their clothes for them :-). (Imagine coming down the stairs with no socks on what would the other half or mates think? No socks......... Shock!

I beg to differ by the way, cool as Feck in my books but then again my dress sense is as subjective as yours.

    Cheers,

most people wear their trousers too long to be fair, if you are going sockless shorter is better

Have you been talking to my Mrs - she looked at my latest clothes shop and said - " perhaps next time it's best if I come with you - you look like a golfer" - a term of great insult in our house.

I wear no socks all day every day unless I am at work - but then again I don't wear shoes either just flipflops.

That watch however is an object of desire that I covet

Looks fine -the watch and the jenas and the shoes without socks.
Any kind of ensemble is all about being able to carry it off.
No rules but yours and yours only.
Some of the good natured ribbing made me LOL but some was mean.

Beautiful DayDate! I have quite a soft spot for the 36mm DD, old school bling, and an underrated classic.
