Ben - you got me there, yep it was Alistair. Boy he can talk!

Mike - I know, a bit of a shocker really

As predicted I've changed to the watch I collected this morning, just put a new strap on it and it's just beautiful. I'll take a few pics later all being well.

I'm off to Glen Affric in the scottish Highlands early tomorrow to climb some mountains. This watch fits the bill, as it was cheap, it's reliable and slides out from under a cuff because of the smooth case profile. It gets mighty cold on the Munros this time of year! Fumbling around to look at a watch is not an option!

    Cheers,
    Martin

This is the GW-M5600. 5-band atomic time. The first ones in the world seem to have appeared in the UK, supplied by tiktox.

I've switched to my Hamilton for the rest of the day.

Hardly wore this watch for years, but as I settle into what's left in my collection, I'm really enjoying it. :)

This one is very special to me .

Was worn by a very good mate, and fellow TZ`er whilst he was deployed in Afghanistan . He is currently back in Baghdad on another tour of duty .

Just changed the crystal, and gave the case a slight brush .

    Cheers,
    Vic :)
