I have an old yellow gold no date Rolex. It is of a small diameter, though admittedly, I have a very small wrist (around 6 1/4" to 6 1/2").
In trying to make this watch more "wearable", I'm making an attempt to think of ways to make the watch look bigger, or at least more wearable.
May I ask if a Bund strap might work in this case?
There are threads and pictures of how a small watch looks bigger and more wearable (by today's standards) by creating an illusion of a bigger watch merely due to the width of the Bund strap.
Any advice would be appreciated.
I just don't want this watch to go wasted by being unworn.
Thank you.
It is what it is. Sell it and buy a larger watch.

I think an old yellow gold Rolex would look peculiar on a Bund strap.
As has been said above... if it's too small for you, it's too small for you. If you have a female significant other then you could give it to her...?

I agree with the previous comments, there's nothing much you can do. Perhaps you could add some other wrist wear if that's your style, and stick to no sleeves or narrow cuffs, but that's about it. I presume it's 34mm or below? On the plus side, with your wrist size any 36mm vintage watch will look great, including Datejusts. Time for a trade in.
It pleases me to see that posters actually agree with me ;)
A picture might be useful.
Thank you all for your suggestions, comments. Very helpful!
May I please ask what you think of a Canary Yellow strap with the Yellow Gold Rolex (no date) please? It is certain unconventional, and yet, it adds an unexpected touch, and maybe some fun!
Of course, a dark green works, lapis blue works, orange is a bit much (!), and, the Tobacco Brown Croco is stunningly beautiful with it, though more expected, less unusual, maybe less fun but gorgeous.
Thank you again in advance. Hope to hear more ideas and thoughts!
more pictures/options.
PS: strangely, i'm having issues attaching/embedding more pictures. oh well...

Put it on a Eulit Perlon strap, they look dressy enough but make a smaller case look bigger.
Lots of different colours too.
Sorry OP, I don't think the yellow works at all...

A strap isn't going to make this watch any bigger. Its a nice size, with a nice leather (alligator or ostrich in brown or dark tan) strap to make it work.
The Yellow is a bit much in my opinion.
A lovely dress watch with the right strap
I gave my 1964 34mm gold Rolex to the missus after putting a white calf skin strap on it... As others have said, it could score you big brownie points!
All of those straps make it look like you are trying too hard. Put it on a good quality black lizard (with an OEM buckle) and start trying to master the art of understatement. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a 34mm watch on a wrist the size of yours.
