    Yes, thanks, it's from 1971 or so. So it's bit small for modern tastes. Fortunately, so is my wrist. It's had a very gentle life, I'm very lucky with the condition.

    Won't be everyone's cup of tea but I really liked the one I had before, just moved it along and upgraded to the Steinhart bronze. Turns out I missed the ugly lump and I have enough of the standard diver design so off went the Steinhart and back in came a Layan! I had the green California dial before so switched to a black sandwich this time. Despite my preference of allowing patina to develop naturally on the previous Layan and the Steinhart, I boiled up an egg the other night and had a go at darkening this up a bit.
