Not a patch on some of the other watches posted here but not bad for my first venture into what's likely to become a very expensive hobby. A bargain at £304 from Jura after discounts codes. Should get delivered in a few days :)
I like this very much enjoy it in good health
A lovely SMPC but my lack of techy ability means I can't post a pic from my phone!

One of the nicest watches I've ever owned, if not the nicest. It truely is a looker! Longines got it perfect with the GMT Conquest blue dial. Enjoy :)
Loving the 2016 CWC Automatic diver watch I bought from Neil aka chronomaster last week in mint condition and +1 sec per day struggling to add pics but im sure everyone knows what these look like!!!!
Needed a new rugged watch for work so treated myself to this:
It's the Mudmaster GG-1000-1a.
It's a beast but feels comfortable even on my childlike wrists.
My only criticism is that I can't find how to change the format of the date which shows month first, then day.

This just arrived to my Ski chalet in Vermont. In fairly good shape but I'll get it serviced and new crystal etc.
Always wanted a Buckley.

Needed this like a hole in the head but actually quite a nice alternative to the ceramics and being an N serial it is only one year younger than I.

Just picked up....and delighted.
So comfy on the wrist and definitely wears smaller than its 48mm...
Met friend in Wellington today....gorgeous LLP Big Pilot....so a good shot of both.

So from buying one watch in the last ten years I've had two this week...
First, in 100% newb cliche style, is a Ocean One. Gateway drug in watch form, I'm told.
Second, and more interesting perhaps, is this 80s (I think) Seiko 5 which I got for £20 on eBay and which I have been trying to regulate over the past few days - although as yet I haven't managed to improve on the +20s it was doing when I first popped the bracelet off and opened it up.
The idea was to use something old & cheap to learn some basic skills - I originally thought I could change out the face & hands. But, ironically, I really like the look of it and think I'll probably end up putting it on a decent strap and giving it to my father in law as a gift.
Will post my regulation (mis)adventures separately as and when they come to an end.

I've had a couple before that I've not actually worn and sold as the finances were needed elsewhere.
When I noticed Berrys had one in stock over the weekend I added it to my basket but didn't actually go through with the purchase. They then emailed me 2 days later offering 5% off so it was too good not buy! Glad I did and glad I have now got it on the wrist. Absolutely beautiful.
^^^ Very nice.
If it doesn't settle down then give it a light smack in the palm of your hand. Really.
Thanks for the offer. It seems to be OK now. it stayed 5 minutes fast and didn't get any quicker so wound it fully before i went to bed and in the morning it was still at the same five minutes faster than my alarm clock. i reset the time this morning and its currently fine. i do wonder whether i set the time correct in the first place last night as i was watching Spurs chelsea and "listening" to the wife at the same time so was a bit distracted.
Got this the other day to test how I liked smaller watches in prep for maybe getting a DJ and haven't taken it off. Miraculously nicely made little automatic for £60 on amazon!

It's the 112521.
Few things I'd note:
* The red gold is very subtle under most lights.
* The indices are raised in a nice way that makes the dial 3D
* They do an ultra-thin of this watch but I have to wonder how think that is given this is very thin to start with
* The dial has a subtle silver sunburst that it is hard to pick up in the pictures
* The strap is very comfortable from the off - which you'd expect given they make these in-house
* Nice little touch, you get a signed hard-written card from the person who did the 500 hours of tests on the watch
I have thin wrists and this has turned out to be absolutely perfectly sized for me - I'm super-happy with it.

It really is super. I love the position of the date, 9,12,3 markers and how thin it is.
