    Nothing.

I honestly think I've reached an ideal mix with my collection as it stands.

    Haha good one.

Nothing for me either though really. I'm realistic and have no money.

On my Wish I could Buy list however....

I am hoping for a Rolex flavoured 2017 - with a 16710 GMT and the new 2016 explorer on my definites. May also round out with a 36mm OP too if I shift a piece or two to better round out the collection...

I'm out of ideas. I should have some kind of chronograph, but I don't like the Speedy enough (heresy I know!).

Planning to look at a Bremont ALT1-C in the flesh and see if I am inspired.

If a new Coke or Pepsi GMT rocks up this year then that would be the thing

I've a nice little collection (I think!) of mid range watches that cover most bases, so I'm looking toward getting a few more expensive pieces over the next few years. In no particular order:

    -Rolex Submariner No Date
    -Omega Speedmaster Pro
-Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso Grande Taille

I'm sure if I ever get done with that list, the hierarchy of needs will kick in again and extend it. I know I've a sympathetic eye for the Explorer, Explorer II, and the GMT BLNR:) And the Omega Planet Ocean... I wish I could find cheaper hobbies...

Aqua Terra with blue teak dial (still)
The newish IWC Portofino 40mm, white dial, deployment clasp
    Ceramic daytona lolz.
That Kermit that is on SC right now
That Spectre that is on SC right now

Sadly I can't get any of them due to financial restrictions and I won't be making a trade offer.

Blue ceramic seamaster. I saw a black bay red at an ad recently and loved it, but I need a date window.

Saw a Rolex oyster 114200 in the AD today, has a grape dial. My Mrs loved it. Was soooo tempted because it was there for the picking. Tomorrow I might be back..... it is Christmas after all :) So that's on my wtb list now, just not for me to wear.

Also decided I want a SD4000 116660 blue dial today for some reason. :?

  25. #275
    Realistically:
    Nomos Orion 35 (small wrists!)
    IWC Ingenieur 3239 (black dial)

Looking at the pics of the blue dial Aqua Terra, I may need to consider putting another on my wishlist.

    When funds permit, if ever:
    Patek 5712

Something from Seiko, there's bunch of models but currently on top of the list are SARX line and/or Ananta SRQ005.

And some cheaper models, Alpinist and this lovely chrono.

I want to get a Franck Muller of some description, one from when Franck was still designing them. Possibly a Crazy Hours.

Breitling Avenger Gmt or if I'm feeling brave an Avenger Seawolf yellow dial. Both on rubber. Hopefully a jan or Feb purchase.

Rolex 5513 & Rolex Explorer II Polar are the only watches that I desire at the moment.

  37. #287
    Early DJ on oyster:

Speedy pro full-set (I missed out on one last week!)

A faded bezel insert for my 16800 Palletoni as I naively bought one with a couple of service parts ages ago, and something for my girlfriend so that I don't feel bad about asking for my Oysterquartz back!

I'd love a vintage pepsi too, but the prices are getting way out of my range!

I usually don't tell what's on my WTB list because I only buy vintage and I believe that when everyone shares wish lists it causes price increases.

I quite fancy a Laco Paderborn. It really has the WW2 aesthetic. From the leather strap with rivets, to the dial without maker name or model on it. The dial itself is quite plain, with just enough info to do the job. While in the back of the case is info about the watch stamped on.

It's very basic, raw even. Seems to go against the whole grain of watched today, who are either luxury pieces or trying to impersonate luxury. As wel, as this its only £700.

    Pete.

Just one now. I have 4 'grails' and recently acquired the third of them, will receive it in mid January. Pictures will follow I'm sure.

That just leaves the Rolex 116619 white gold Submariner to complete my journey and then I will leave it there.

Current WTB is an Omega Speedmaster Gemini IV but these seem to be even rarer than the Alaska I recently secured!

A Longines Heritage Diver Chrono and a first IWC (Ingenieur possibly).

I could be tempted by a nicely priced vintage Heuer Carrera or Montreal...

I've got my 50th coming up this year so I've decided to treat myself to a grail watch. The watch in question is a Breitling E13360 Chrono Avenger. I've fantasied about having one of these since I first saw one. I never got around to buying one (finance and circumstances) whilst they were in production so it will have to be a pre-owned one. I've done a little research into the market and a decent one will retail around £2000 to £2500. My research mainly centres around Chrono24 - pros and cons have already been cover in another thread. I'm not too fussed about whether it has a bracelet or strap. This is obviously reflected in the prices. There was one I quite like the look of from Holland. However, they've listed the watch as 2008 and according to my research Breitling stopped making the E13360 in 2007. Having a closer look at the pictures, the guarantee is dated 2008, so the watch could have been made in the last year but not sold until a few months later. Unfortunately, it is stuff like this which makes me nervous when buying. I could buy a brand new Sinn 103 St Sa instead.

I find I'm only wearing 3 these days, one for work, one for weekends and a semi beater for leaving in the locker when I go to the gym. Anythign else just sits there unworn as it just doesnlt seem to fit in the rotation now I'm a creature of habit

I currently wear an Omega Planet Ocean 8500 for work which does the job pretty well so I'm going to hunt out the latest version of that. Anything else that arrives this year is likely to be passing through as a result of an impulse buy rather than staying for any period of time.

Try the new pelagos lefty , I'm in love with it at the moment . It's basically a left handed vintage looking pelagos . So cool
