Really struggling with this dilema Gab on two fronts, firstly not sure which you should let go, if it was me the Rolex and the Omega. I don't like the Omega and looking at the number who flipped on here there must be others who share this view. Not overly keen on the Rolex either, sorry mate.
The second part is the PP effect, anyone who has an Aquanaut has to buy a Nautilus and anyone who owns a Nautilus has to buy an Aquanaut. How much of this is hype from this forum ?
I prefer your 16800 to the three watches pictured and would have kept that.
Do you really need an Aquanaut - go for AP extra thin blue dial instead.
I would sell the Omega, there have been 2 Speedmasters launched this month already, there will be at least another 10 this quarter
But seriously, the Omega why you can still get your money back. You will take a hit on the other 2 at a guess.

I really don't like YMs at all so if it was mine then that would be the first out of the door. Mind you if it was me I wouldn't have bought it in the first place! If I was intent on losing two then the Reverso would go second as it's just not my kind of watch.
I realise this completely bucks the trend in this thread... but you did ask for opinions!
Whatever you decide to do, I hope it turns out right for you...

I love the look of that Omega. I wouldn't sell any of them.
It's just a matter of time...
That's the problem. I realise that the CK depreciates faster than a brand new Volvo, that it's not a "real" speedmaster, and that Omega is devaluing the models by releasing a LE a week... but I really like it.
Also I worry that having owned a Nautilus, the aquanaut is going to feel like its poor cousin...
First world problem.
Just to put it into prospective yesterday I had the result of a recent MRI scan and, because I'm all clear, I'm a celebratory mood!
Glad to hear the all clear!
Ive ordrered a 5167, and I'm sure it will compliment my 5711 very well :) I'm not sure what I'd sell to cover the cost of the Patek though; I'll cross that bridge, if I have to!
It's just a matter of time...
Gab,
Having owned a Nautilus ? Is that a confession, do you still have it.
Sorry mate, but you seem to be getting rid of the wrong watches like the BLNR and the 16800. Keep them and forget about the need to climb the greasy pole.

Id sell the reverso first , don't like the shape , the other two are classics
I've sold it Ken. About 3 months ago. Best thing I've ever done. I now keep a healthy rotation. I still have a BLNR, and, I'm sorry, but the 16800 really wasn't for me.
I really wish I could get into vintage watches, but either than dress watches, they just don't float my boat ;-)
Let the Omega go first then the JLC and finally the Rolex...thats my vote
I am a major Speedmaster fan, but I would still sell the ck2998 without a second thought. I don't like them at all.
Throw them all up in the air, and the one that lands on the concrete floor first... that's the one to go ;)
It's just a matter of time...
I can't believe I'm saying this but I guess you'll see a CK on SC soon...
thank you all very much
I'm sure you'll make the right choice. Most of the watches can be bought again, but sometimes it can be hard to fit in the same condition, or its expensive to service.
It's just a matter of time...
Do you really want the Aquanaut? You have had a 5711, and I would bet that most Aquanaut owners really want the 5711.
I would drop the Aquanaut, but that doesn't matter, as it isn't about me. I think it might be too close to the 5711, that you let go for good reasons

I find, and this is probably entirely personal, that I need to try a watch before actually knowing if I "really want it".
Even then, my 5711 experience has shown me that if I really like a watch, sometimes is best to let it go anyway.
I know is a different price bracket, but for example I was really exited to get my skx007, but I hardly wear it now.
My cheapest watch is a Vostok I bought recently for £50 and I wear it once a week :-)
This is a funny hobby.
Anyhow thank you all very much, you have given me some interesting advices.
I'd keep the Reverso and sell the Rolex and the Omega. But I'm not a Rolex guy nor a fan of that particular Speedmaster so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
As others have said keep the reverso. Not a fan of the others
The Omega was never keen on that One!
Keep the Omega for sure!!
The Reverso is the definite keeper of those three, and I would sell the Rolex, and and keep the Omega, which I think looks great personally.

Personal opinion of course. The rolex to go in a heartbeat. Never been a fan of those ones, to me they look vaguely cheap looking and nothing special. Followed by the speedie if you really needed to. Reverso is fantastic looking and in a league streets ahead of the other two.

Tah Dah!
The 5167 is lovely. Well done. An excellent choice.

Which is worth the most and you like the least?
Personally I'd dump the Rolex and I've never been a fan of the Reverso.
If I'm honest, i don't really like many Speedmaster specials either!
But it's horses for courses. You may feel very differently, must have in fact or you would never have bought them :)

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
Congratulations on the Aquanaut. Hope the two of you will be happy together

Sell the Yatchmaster for sure. The Omega is a keeper if you ask me.
I'd probably sell the YM first, not a fan of the specific dial..

I know they're univerally liked, but the JLC wouldn't get the wrist time for me so it'd be first out of the door
Bin the Yachtmaster and the Omega for me. I don't find either of them visually appealing to be honest, but that is just personal taste of course. I could live with the JLC however.
(To be equally honest, the Aquanaut wouldn't be on my shopping list either but I can see the horological appeal)
I'm envious of the new watch :)
I've been quoted a waiting list in years :(
