Not particullary rare in watch forums, but as being a military issued watch, there are only units between collectors and old pilots.

Well, it's quite old ...

1950 14ct solid rose gold cal 354Seamaster. I've never seen one exactly like it....I guess that qualifies for 'rare'
1969 Steel day/date Seamaster cal 752. Not truly 'rare' but you don`t see many thesedays, particularly with the gold hands/indices. I have the correct bracelet for it.....now that IS rare!
Could've shown a few more that are nice, but not rare enough!

From the 30s
You can say that again TTC!. They're rare enough to come up, working examples where the LED still lights are rarer again. Much. I've always had a hankering… I actually remember that model clearly when it was new. They looked like a watch that should be shown off by Judith Hann on Tomorrows World.
This mad looking thing would be similar enough. Rare enough to come up, working examples rarer again, working examples that keep time accurately another level of rare(KeithT worked his magic, between bouts of cursing my sorry soul to the seventh level of hell :D).
Ohh that is nice. The octagonal cased ones are rare alright, in gold much rarer. About the only Rolex I ever owned for any length of time were 30's early Oysters. The were very collectible in the 90's and still pretty cheap to get. They seem to have gone out of fashion, or at least you rarely see them on forums these days. I regret selling one of mine(stainless steel cushion shaped bubble back). I suppose they're way too small for today's tastes which must be a lot of it.
+1. I really like those Omegas. Unreal quality, though not surprising given how expensive they were when new. IMH that period was when Omega were at their peak when it came to innovation of technology and design. A bit out of fashion now, especially because of the battery driven bit… but fantastic watches from a fantastic time.
Going way back when, here's a 1916 Hampden;
They show up from time to time in this config(and from different makers), but this "military" radium dial and handset from Hampden would be rare to see. I've only seen maybe three come up in the last decade. I got this from a French seller a few years back. Given it was an American brand, it's quite likely it came over in the Great War.
Have not seen any Eternas here, so I classify this one as rare :)
Here's a few more rare vintages to go with my other lot on page 1 ...
Rolex 1940's Oyster Centregraph
1940's Universal Compur, IIRC the first chronograph with two pushers.
A probably 1930's Zenith with the retailers name at the top of the dial as was the custom then.
Cheers,
Neil.

I have a few that would fall into the "rare" category, one of which being this time-only J. Auricoste. The brand is known mainly for their Type XX chronographs, and I haven't seen another like this:
Don't know if it's particularly rare, but it's certainly old. Hallmarked 1919 and an IWC cal. 76 movement.
Rare is subjective is WIS circles, but a few of my less common
Zenith dress watch with 2552 cal only 15k of this cal made

Citizen Crystron 600m from 1977 sadly gone..
Very nice collection of vintage watches! Congrats to all of you!

hi guys wana find out if my edox delfin automatic watch is rare or vintage got the week and day dial aswell
I do not think the above YG Zenith, dated, I think around 1963-65, is rare in reference to lots of the other fine examples posted here. It has the 2532C movement.
It is though seemingly uncommon to have the date at 6.
It is also a very lovely piece !

A series Royal Oak, one of the first 1000 ever made.
Awesome thread vintage for me every time, I'd probably have them all given half the chance.
