John Bentley (TheTigerUK) made me a bare Tuna Can from an old Seiko 7548 case. This is the temporary end result - the dial and hands will be changed.

If I've learned anything by this experience - this could be all the watch I need.
Not sure I could be a 1 watch person though

I tried weekly rotation, lasted for 2,5 weeks then I got insane and couldn't take it anymore.

Sadly, it is just too large for me to carry off. Though I am aware that they did a limited smaller case version, but they are not easy to find.

    Have a great weekend :)
You should try it on if you haven't, you might be surprised. :)

Can I just say that I really like the look of those North Flags, and that pic is razor sharp too.

Now couple that with the cracking good weather whilst you are walking the dog on a beach in January - where did I go wrong in life?

Perhaps I should have tried a lot harder in school...

I tried it November last year expecting the 45mm to be way too much, but it wasn't. It didn't feel that large when wearing and looked fantastic, as your pics show!

Just switched the Black Bay from the leather strap to the Tudor NATO to mix it up a bit.

Schofield Signalman. You may be able to see a little light shining on my wrist from underneath. That's the Chronos Wearables module I've attached which turns it into a smartwatch!

    Loving the combo.

I do like these, but find myself vacillating between thinking the gold numerals and hands make them pop, and thinking the gold colour is too much

Thanks a lot Analogue, the second crown is a bezel lock -- when screwed in it holds the rotating bezel in place.

Thanks, Plume. I did wonder if it might be to actually rotate the bezel, rather than locking it after manually turning it. Anyway, very nice.
