    First stab at showing my collection - take a look!

    Hi Guys,

    Just had a quick go at taking some shots with my phone to see how they came out - have a look below.

    My first real watch - the Rolex - 22 years old and still going strong...

    </a>

    Then my second Omega - a recent purchase - the Omega Planet Ocean

    </a>

    A couple of less 'coveted' brands but I just like them:

    The Victorinox military chronograph on a Di Modell strap

    </a>

    followed by the Oakley Blade - very heavy and a lovely close fitting bracelet

    </a>

    and then finally - my latest and current favourite! The Bell & Ross BR01-94 titanium chronograph

    </a>

    </a>

    And all together....

    </a>

    What do you think?

    Nice! Especially the PO & B&R. Although that Oakley looks strangely out of place ..

    I know, I know :D

    Dont beat me up too much about it - I just liked the buzz -saw blade effect and thought it would look "cool" (is that what the kids still say?) if I wore it when skiing!

    Be kind to it .....it doesn't get a great deal of wrist time!

    Thanks Rav, its an Oyster perpetual date just - my first "real watch" bought 22 years ago for £1600, serviced only once and never missed a beat...

    They must have made them well in that era.Here's mine from '84. Worn for 20yrs 24/7 before I got the bug, including work as a Firefighter. Serviced twice in that time and still running spot on.

    I will probably sell the Oakley and Victorinox now and then (in a while) get the other watch I have coveted from afar - the Breitling Navitimer 701

    Impressive for something shot with a phone. Did you put something over the lens to get macro focusing?

    Hi Ming, the phone is a Sony Ericsson K810i with 3.2 mega pixels but it also has a macro setting as one of the options!

    I only ever take photos on holiday, weddings, etc (normally just on hols!) but have just got a Sony DSC R1 camera so I would like to improve a little. Your shots are absolutely superb and were the inspiration for having a go with the schoolboy efforts above :D

    Hi Ari, its the 45mm and I have it on today - quick pic below. It is on the rubberised strap with the orange stitching that I think sets the orange bezel off a treat. I also have the bracelet and the orange leather strap but this is my current favourite!
