I'm guessing the same, it was found in a jewellery box with no glass. I'm hoping the marks will fade with time now it is being exposed to natural light again.

Newly arrived vintage quartz CWC on a vintage 1981 UK military strap. Very comfortable strap as it's infinitely adjustable and I've been surprised as to how much I like the CWC, watch feels solid and movement feels stable despite its age and tritium lume.

Looking a bit weathered these days (lost it's pip - which annoys me a bit, and the bezel is starting to fade slightly - which is no issue with me) but used daily as a tool watch to do everything from working on the car and DIY jobs to gardening and swimming. Used as it should be.

Bezel looks great! I love to watches being used, though I think I'd personally stop short of working on the car in one.
