I'm guessing that was aimed at me as I mentioned that I wear it when working on the car.
Bearing in mind that that seamaster has been pretty much my daily wear for the past 13 years and gets used for all jobs including working on the car I'd say it's in pretty decent condition. Working on the car has certainly not awarded it any major battle scars.
Why would I not wear it to work on the car? I still need to tell the time when tinkering in the garage just as I do when working in the garden or sitting at my desk. It's a tool watch designed for being worn so I see no issue. It's not like it's an uber rare comex sub or anything, it's just my daily wear Seamaster, which I love, don't get me wrong. But it is not rare.
