Got up Sunday, having a cup of tea and checking e-mails and the usual stuff everyone does and clicked on SC on here. A Nezumi Voiture Chrono had just been bumped to the top. I thought never heard of them, let's have a look and to cut a short story even shorter I bought it. It arrived today and it is great, so much so that I really don't see the point of buying the Speedy Tuesday now - it is just too similar.
It has a 24 hour sub dial that is driven by the main hands, which is a bit unusual for a Chrono - well in my experience anyway. It is a 40mm watch, so slightly smaller than the Speedy. It has a Seiko Quartz movement.
This is the first edition limited to 300 pieces and a nice touch is the spelling mistake in Quarts with an S, which was quickly rectified on later editions.
Picked up this little Chootsie early this afternoon & can't stop staring at her;)

Got the baseball hat, and 100 year Fortis, book, which actually looks a nice read.
Absolutely stunning! Enjoy it in good health!
^^^Thanks Mark.
Just enjoying this newly arrived:
8 days after my first proper watch purchase, I found myself looking at a used navitimer at a shop window. And yes, I took it. Box, papers, warranty card all seemed correct.
This might become an expensive hobby...
Well done! This is fabulus! The navitimer was one of the two watches that got me hooked with the sport about 25 years ago. The other one was the two tone Rolex sub with blue dial, still don't have either after all these years, alhough I had the oppurtinity in the past, but I was always stuck with some other watch, really happy with my ND now.
Had the G-Shock thing this week. A 5610 and a 5600BC.....
I told myself I was going to sell a few watches and get a grip with regard to buying more in, I didn't do too well.
Inbound tomorrow are a couple of kinetics and Tuesday or Wednesday should see a Seiko SARB065 Cocktail time arrive.
I thought I had better try the 065 since I read they will be discontinued soon.
TheTigerUK made and fitted a shroud to my 007 that I've had since 2006. He also fitted a crystal times bezel and domed no AR coating sapphire.
Just look at the fit between the bezel and shroud - spot on!

Just landed. After 15years of furtling about with watches, it's my first Sub. (tho not first Rolex).
Well loved and worn before me, so I just tickled the bracelet to blend in a bit of the laughter-lines she'd developed, plus a lick with the polishing cloth on the mirrored case sides, and now in the wrist. Love it!

Got the email this morning to say it's been dispatched...
Always wanted to try one of Dan's watches having read about his endeavours and its not disappointed. Feels well built, easy strap changing and running to c5spd currently. The plan is for it to end up replacing my youngest's Divex in a few months but until then I intend to enjoy it without any of the worries that accompany the older Snowflake in the collection! I think I'm now a perlon fan too.
