I joined on Jan 10th and was hoping to access sales corner. How do you do it? I can't see it in the forum list.

Some of the more established members of the forum have mentioned that the posts should offer something to the community in order to get access. I have not seen the previous but every single one of the OP's posts in this thread were absolutely useless....

Thanks - I have been around for a while and lurking for longer. Learnt loads already and hope to learn more. Found it a friendly place to be so far just hope I haven't offended anyone with this thread (that was not my intention).
No offence meant. The original post was a genuine question as I thought 60 days was the trigger and could not work out how to access sales corner. The rest were a bit of fun triggered by a comment from another member that they thought it was fun.

Speedposting is not necessarily about the speed of your posts, but rather just posting rubbish to up your post count. Basically a sign that all the individual is only here to take advantage of the forum benefits, which are supposed to be there for people who actually make meaningfully contributions to the community. Basically just taking advantage of the forum.
I get that. Hopefully my other posts to the forum have added at least a little something. Given I waited 60 days to post this and thought it was 60 days or 50 posts you can see that I am a genuine member who has not (apart from today) been speed posting.

Theres got to be a few people people itching to make an appearance in this thread.
It took me a while to be able to see the sales corner and to be honest most of my posts are probably pointless because i dont know all that much about watches.

Agreed - Some admin members feel that you need to earn access to sales corner by contributing to the forum. If your posts are worthwhile I'm sure the glitch won't happen.

Welcome Mezza. I recently joined also. On the speed posting point my advice is to keep it relevant and informative. I've occasionally been picked on by a few over sensitive types that are here to sniff out dealers etc. N.B. that's a good thing to moderate in order to keep the place honest. Overall have enjoyed my stay here so far and have already bought a nice watch on SC.

Just wondering how 'they' calculate your 60 days. I joined 16/01/17 and by my reckoning I'm over the 60 now and as can be seen well over 50 posts.
Is it automatic or do you have to ask?
Guessing someone does it manually once in a while...
