Big fan of leather but that does not work for me on that watch. Too dressy perhaps.

Not THAT leather strap certainly!!! Whatever its on should be black. The bracelet is OK, but somehow it doesn't quite float my boat.
More rustic leather would work. Something like a JPM Vintage, although it's half the cost of the watch. I wear mine on a Zulu

I've tried rubber, nato and zulu, but there's something perfect about the way that the watch hangs on the wrist with the stock jubilee.
The leather looks good to me.
I'm liking the metal.
Out of those 2 it is the bracelet.
If you had rubber or NATO AS an option then it becomes more difficult.

Another bracelet vote. Tan strap on a black dialled watch doesn`t do it for me. Black strap would work so much better.

But the lack of a bracelet was why i got rid of mine. It is just too much of a rugged looking watch to look right on a leather strap (regardless of colour)
A different leather strap might work better.
Another vote for bracelet, that leather strap doesn't work at all for my taste. Too smart looking for the watch. I have a strong dislike for quick release bars in straps like this also, nobody wants to see exposed balls

For the SKX to carry off leather it needs to be chunky leather IMO. I wore one on a Di-Moddel Jumbo for a while
