    Date for me.
Tried both and the ND seemed to me more like a "tool watch" and the D more like a "jewel watch", if this makes sense...
Anyway very pleased with mine, and 6 years later, I´m glad I choose the 16610

My AD called me today to say they had a non-date in stock arrive this morning but no date.

After making about 20 calls to various AD's in the area and obviously getting the same response each time that I would be an idiot to even be asking such a question...I've found one! On route to collect. Happy weekend.

    Without the date every time.

And I wish, without that hour hand. Did they ever make one?

Mil Subs had sword hands... There are one or two companies today who make modified Rolexes (Tempus Machina, for e.g.) with them... I think.

    Neither cheap!

Very nice, but you'd have done better getting one without a date!

Lovely watch but would personally always go no date.

That is very nice! I like the date as a feature, and the cyclops gives the watch the classic Rolex look. Mine is almost five years old and has been a daily wearer, looks still quite fine...

Great watch, congrats. Really is no wrong or bad option for a black sub.

    Great watch and great photo!

Buy one of these and it's almost certain to be a daily wearer really. The right watch for pretty much every event or occasion.
