Finally got my hands on an Aqua Terra Quartz.. Very nice Grab-n-Go, with the quick-set hour hand for when I travel..
New polished Geckota Mesh for the B&M GMT
After many strap options, I think I've finally found the right combo.

Just received this lovely Tissot V8 that will (hopefully) slow my desire for a speedmaster for a little longer. Lovely weight and looks great.

The beauty of this place is that you just never know what is around the corner. I had a listing on SC for an Orient and I was offered this, a Hamilton Khaki Navy Sub 42mm Automatic in a straight trade. I had never even looked at Hamilton before but 42mm is good for me, it is a robust Diver, which I like and it reminds me of the Aquanaut a little with the dial pattern, numbers and hands - and clearly a whole lot cheaper.
So a straight swop takes place resulting in two happy campers.
This is another brand that I can tick off as having tried - and can recommend.
I have a Rolex GMT 16750 matte dial coming on Monday, can't wait to get my hands on it and will post a pic up

Nice. I got one a while ago and am waiting, impatiently, for a call from Rolex St James' Square to say the service is done.

Just back from Nagoya in Japan. As ever with any business trip over there I end up going a little bit mental. These three Chronographs where my choice picks.
First up the Sinn 903.ST.GL. This is quite a rare 903 and has the hand wound Lemania 1873, a close relative of that found in the next watch.
Then we have the Omega Speedmaster Professional Racing which was initially meant to be a Tin Tin LE but wan't after the owners of Tin Tin didn't agree. It wasn't an LE officially but probably less than 2000 exist. I picked this up brand new all stickered up. Rare, interesting story and all the makings of a classic.
Finally something I've quite like the look of for a while. Love the dial basically on this Chopard Mille Miglia 8331. ETA2892 with DD chrono module. 39mm and wears beautifully. Possibly my fave of the three so far.
Just found this in a drawer and popped it on.

Forgot about this GPS watch as i had to wait weeks for Amazon to deliver at an amazing price but worth the wait.
Love it and keeping far more expensive watches off my wrist.
Thank you.
I have spent a long time hunting for the right strap and I'm not entirely convinced I've got it right. The lugs are very narrow and non standard - just under 16mm. Steveostraps made this one for it and I asked him to leave out any padding to keep it as thin as possible. I think the colour works and it is very comfy, but I still wonder whether a cream perlon would be a better match. No doubt a 16mm would squeeze between the lugs.
An enormous wide open zen dial. I love it. Well done Eddie.

Ha ha. Yep. It's huge. But somehow appropriately so.
Definitely can see an addiction developing for Eddie's watches. I have a 35mm explorer 1 for my more conservative moments.
Have a great weekend! Thanks for the encouragement ⭐️

Thank you very much :). I won't be wearing the watch on the day mind, I'm wearing my late fathers old Seiko.
Yours looks nice, it was a close run thing but I just had to have the blue one :)
Thank you very much :)

I like that. What is the model number please?
Well that's a quick incoming. Just picked this up from Andrew Cregan. Very comfortable to wear. My first G-Shock.

I received this during the week, my first purchase through the forum, thanks Dan83bz! Very impressed with the quality and detail of this for a watch in the £ hundreds rather than thousands. Also my first white dial and I'm very happy.

This arrived today, eBay purchase, excellent seller. 16 years old and totally mint, new strap, Breitling service in January (car key on receipt in the photo to protect the sellers identity), full documentation. I'm thrilled with it. Had the black dial version about ten years ago, let it go and missed it. Photo heavy sorry, couldn't stop myself!

Took delivery of this a couple days ago. It is the smallest piece I own and I was a bit nervous it would look a bit silly on my wrist but it is gorgeous that wears perfectly.

Called in Milton's in Liverpool today. There were two watches in the running, both with the same price tag on them. A Submariner 14060m and a 1991 Seadweller 16600 with lovely patina. After trying both on I opted for the Sub, I have wanted one of these four liners for a few years and this is a 2011 full set in wonderful condition.
Whilst I was there I asked if I could see and try on one of their two white dial Ceramic Daytonas. Having followed the hype and viewed many images on here, I had never seen one in the flesh - they are beautiful, believe me.
As I am on the list at Goldsmiths, I had this image taken, so come the day I will stare at this image and make a choice. At least I own 50% of the watches in this image, just the wrong 50% in most people's eyes.

been fancying a cheapish Rolex ,no box or papers ,but loads of scratches and dings(patina)I may hold onto this as the newer rolexes I've own ,I've always been cautious of marking them ,not to worry with this it's already had a beating

New £3.5 Zulu strap on £35 Kirovskie 'bull-horn' lugs. Chopped excess strap to fit my 6" wrist.
So I've had a couple of very nice incomings this week.
First off Speedy Schumacher from SC:
So far very happy, looks and wears great. It's the perfect size for me. One issue is that life are 18mm so need better straps.
Second incoming is NATO style strap with deployant from Eddie for my sub:
If like me u enjoy changing straps on ur watches often for variety I would highly recommend this!
