    Longines HydroConquest Strap Dimensions

    Hi there,
I've got a Longines HydroConquest as shown above! What dimensions should I be searching for for a new strap? Also any strap suggestions other than Hirsh? Or are they really the best value for money?
Any watch strap suggestions for this watch would be appreciated!!!
    Thanks :D

Lug width is 21mm . Bit quirky. If leather or canvas you can get away with a 22mm squeezed in. If bracelet rubber or NATO then stick to the 21mm

And Hirsch carbon black with red stitching looks Sick on it. Waterproof so good for a diver and the red stitching picks out the red tip second hand

Not a strap recommendation, but a bracelet suggestion. I love the Hydroconquest, the sunburst dial, hands, and even the crown guards. I did not, however, like the shiny polished centre links. So I had the bracelet polished, which I think is a much better look.

Oh yeah, much better, in fact that's how it should have been finished from the factory. And the clasp's already all satin, isn't it?

    Longines HydroConquest Strap Dimensions

Found a pic you can see a 22mm strap has no issue fitting a 21lug as long as it's got enough "give".

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I have one of these that I haven't worn for some time and I recently tried to change the strap to breath some new life into it. I was unable to do so in the way I do with other dive watches I have. Is there a special tool required to do this or a certain technique?

No it's same. Fairly easy. Only thing I would say is when I bought mine (used) the prev A-hole seller had somehow crammed a 22mm springbar in prob as he couldn't be bothered spending £2 for some 21's. now THOSE were the mother of all pains to remove. By time I figured it out I chose to just snap them. Once on21s it was a sinch. Worth checking on yours

Slightly different watch but yeah looks good. Yours has Arabic 1-12 and not just 3 6 9 12, and bezel hasn't the shark tooth indices. Not seen that one before

It was introduced to replace the design you have, but I guess it wasn't popular as they seem to have gone back to the earlier design!

I like them both if I'm honest, though I do like the smaller 5 minute indicators on the bezel of whatever gen mine is. One common factor, I defo prefer this diver on a strap rather than a bracket though irrespective of generation.
