Took the bracelet off this yesterday. It has transformed the watch completely and I am now even more in love with it.

Managed to get a hold of another 6015 last weekend. Totally original (minus strap) and kept in a bedside table for 30 years. Feels good to be back in the Seiko fold. Sending it to Duncan next week for a service and a crystal replacement, so I'm getting some wrist time before it goes away for a few weeks.

Almost NOS 62MAS. The things I'd do. . .
Quick and dirty of the last months digital Seiko frenzy, production ages decrease left to right (1976, 1980, 2015) and interesting that size of digits decrease left to right but physical size of case increase left to right...................................if that makes sense?
..............and just as a comment but Seiko really do need to get back into making quality digitals again, the "Wired special", is a high quality piece with a new module designed very recently so they are obviously capable of doing it.

2 Seiko and a Citizen, 2 titanium 1 stainless steel. Love all 3.
I've been missing turtle so I had to get one again, love it, pure summer

Amazing feel and value. Nothing to add to it, but love to see it without day date. This dial layout is perfect for a small time only diver.

Mine in order of Purchase 1980's through to late 90's then the New to me quartz 2017 as a fundraiser from this forum. The other quartz don't work the Seiko 5's do with a few shakes. No batteries required.

Thanks,
I took it to a jewellers the other month to have a battery fitted. They said the watch would not respond 🤢

To be frank it needs a new crystal and the quartz element sorting. The case and strap could do with a refinish. It's then weighing up the costs of that vs what it's worth. That was one of my main drivers for turning back to mechanical watches. No batteries. The two Seiko 5's just work

Running at +4 sec/day. Not bad for a lower end Seiko Automatic.
Hi there.
My seiko mm.
In honour of father's day yesterday, my Dad's old 7T42 chronograph (with new OEM jubilee):
Cool movement with alarm and countdown timer, produced by the Suwa factory in May 1988 (might not have been called Suwa anymore, but they were still putting their symbol on the dials).
Not been out the watch box for some time. Getting a run now though.
