    Looks like he didn't even finish and stopped just as the camera cuts out. I use to run cross country as a teenager and would win on the downhills, I loved it but the knees took a battering because of it. Historically, it's very hard and frustrating to film the true steepness, it's always steeper than what shows on film. Some of those jump offs look big when using the spectators heights as a gage.

    I wonder how these competitors will reflect 30 years from now of their glory days while trying to get out of bed every morning.
