Sinn 856? Looks like a Sinn 656 series with the date and big number, but there's that little number inside.
Kamraj
Bingo. 856 S UTC :D
Very nice. S is for black, right? Didn't look like it in the pics. You get it in KL?
Kamraj
Yes, got it yesterday. It's definitely black. :D
The folks at the Hour Glass must love you :D
On the pic - I meant it as a compliment on your photography skills, to cpature the highlights on a matt black watch. I nearly got an 856 instead of a 656, but back then (2 years ago) I was worried that it might be a bit large and busy. Today I'm wearing an Orange Monster on an Orange Rhino.
Congrats on a great watch, and looking forward to more pics.
Kamraj
Congratulations! Must admit to a real craving for the 857 personally...

We want the pics. :bounce:

Every watch a story.
You have, so I think as punishment you should send me your IWC
But great shot of a great watch .. congrats.
/vince ..
Thanks guys! :D
Kamraj - the hour glass director tried to sue me once. I don't think they love me. Alas, there's nowhere else in asia to buy Sinn...
 - what did you do? No, don't tell - admit nothing! Just remind me not to drop your name when next I'm haggling with them. Look on the bright side, even if they'll never love ya, at least we get to pop in and ogle Sinns in the flesh, as 'twere, wheras these benighted Englanders have to content themselves with drooling over their keyboards. But I concede that it's galling to have to purchase from people who've sued you.Kamraj - the hour glass director tried to sue me once. I don't think they love me. Anyway, I'll leave you to get on with them pics, so I can drool without leaving the keyboard.
Kamraj
Very nice, especially in black.
Enjoy,
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!

Pics as soon as they fix the ADSL line at my apartment. It's been down since the storm yesterday, and Telekom Malaysia moves at the speed of a greased snail.
Kamraj - are you in KL?
Ming
Yup, I'm in KL. T'kom have accelerated of late, then? :D
Kamraj
Well, greased snails tend to get stuck because of the viscousity of the grease and low motive power of the snail...
