The new 8L35mas is now available, so I thought I would show a 1967 Daini Seikosha 62mas today.....

This is definitely prosaic compared to the two fantastic previous posts but is still a comfy and fun combination.

My SRP775 Turtle on a Strapcode super jubilee.

This is my second attempt with a Strapcode, as the first jubilee I had was badly finished, with one of the end-links not aligning to the case. It went back for a refund but some months later, the call of trying my first ever jubilee was too great. This one fits very well. The clasp comes with 6 adjustment points and the removable links are screwed not pinned, so it's easy to find the perfect fit. The clasp is slightly stiff compared to the original Seiko and I briefly fitted the Seiko clasp to the jubilee. It worked but somehow didn't feel quite right.

    £66 + shipping from Amazon.

Not very exciting I'm afraid but it's one of my Seikos.
Didn't cost me much secondhand but enjoy wearing it as much as more expensive things. Hard as nails watch as well!

Thanks Sammy, maybe you mean Bernd's legendary 40 page WUS thread, "My Seiko SRP775." That chap can certainly take a great watch photo!

Me too. It looks like an SKX or small 6309 case. Nice looking watch.

Yeah, I've always been kinda anti-modding, but was just browsing facebook as you do and found this guy in the Philippines that does these, refinishes and services then does various mods. This one just caught my eye on a late night browsing session, glad it did though.

New Turtle mod I had done. On the way to me. This is a quick shot from the maker.

The dial, hands and insert from Yobokies. Doxa style insert made of solid SS with engraved numbering.

Crystal Times low DD sapphire with blue AR

Need a BOR from Uncle Seiko now

I'm not sure what the pattern is - it certainly brightens up a dull day in the office though.

Bought this SBBN007 of JonW of this forum (and deskdivers.com & ploprof.com fame) more than 10 years ago, put it on a Watchadoo "Lumpy" bracelet and gave it to my dad. Unfortunately he has been suffering health issues and this summer he told me that he started to find the combo a bit heavy and gave it back to me (I gave him a 7548-7010 on rubber nato instead). So almost like a new arrival for me now. Whilst the Lumpy suits the watch cosmetically I find it a bit heavy and "massive" as well son put it on Isofrane for now, did try the SBBN015 bracelet for it as well but it becomes a bit too much steel for my liking if that make sany sense.

Had a pressure test done and a new battery put in this week, should be good to go for many years still.

    Three old banger Seikos here.

Two from the '60's and one from the '70's.

The Diamatic has the original matching bracelet, bet you've never seen/owned one before.

    Cheers,
    Neil.
